Sree Buddha College of Engineering B.Tech. and Lateral Entry Admission 2024

The institute offers a four-year degree course of B.Tech. in five specializations. The seat intake is 60 seats per specialization. Admission into the second year of B.Tech. through lateral entry is also offered by the institute.

For B.Tech, candidates must have passed 10+2 examination in Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Bio-Technology /Computer Science /Biology as an optional subject.

For Lateral Entry, candidates with diploma in Engineering/Technology or science stream in any B.Tech branch with 45% aggregate marks is required for eligibility.

Admission is done on the basis of KEAM scores whereas for Lateral entry, merit in the qualifying examination is preferred.

Sree Buddha College of Engineering Application Process 2024

Candidates seeking admission into B.Tech., Lateral Entry B.Tech., M.Tech, can apply both online and offline on the official website.

For applying online, candidates can visit the official website. Fill the online application form or download it from the official website and send the filled in application form to the principal and remit the fee. Candidate can also get the form from the college office on payment of application fees.

Candidate need to register with KEAM and GATE official website for entrance examination.

Following is the step wise application process of the college.

For applying in SBCE online, firstly you need to register with your basic details and submit them.
After that you will be proceeded to fill the application form with your name, mobile number and email id for communication purposes.
After registration, you need to provide your full details including the personal, academic and others.
Fill in all the fields carefully and submit.
Next you need to upload all the required documents.
Proceed to make a payment of Application fees which can be paid by Cash or Demand Draft in favour of the Principal.
Application fee: INR 500 (By Cash or DD) or INR 530 (Demand Draft by Post)

A comprehensive college experience

Admission:

Admission process was based on 12th grade marks and entrance exam mark. 50% marks in Maths and overall 50% aggreagte in maths,physics amd chemistry. And then documents verifications and interview with principal and after that confirm you seat by paying required seat.

I preferred this college because it was closer to my home and my cousin studied there. I got admission through state merit. I got this college on the third allotment, on both the other allotment i got placed but i was looking forward to this college so i rejected them both. To get eligibility to my college i need a minimum of 60 percent on my PCM subjects. KEAM exam which is kerala state entrance exam, you have to pass it inorder to apply for the colleges of your preference. Almost every student i know have written the keam exam and almost everyon is in merit seat. Merit seat has a cut off of 25000 from the management fee which is 100000 and merit fee will be 75000

Good College

Admission:

I selected this college because of my KEAM rank I was offered a merit seat, which made it a less costly college compared to others I had applied for. It is a known fact that the college had a good faculty and infrastructure, which was alluring to me. Although other colleges I applied to were good as well, unfortunately, their fees were expensive, and I was unable to get a seat there. I remember this college having a very efficient admission process and trust- there was no bribery because the selection process was based on merit. In a nutshell, I have to put the fact that this college was the most recommendable source of education in terms of cost-benefit analysis.

Actually i picked up this college only beacause they having the course artificial intelligence and machine learning and also I came to know that they are having lot of naac and nba aggregation. Keam exam should be completed to get admission for the college as my case minimum keam rank of 30,000 is required for obc catogaries

Life at Sbce

Admission:

I took seat in nri quota. I've given donation (1.5l / seat). They said if I need govt seat, keam rank needs to be under 40k. No special reservations were available. Anyone can take cse with 12th pcm(physics, chemistry, maths).
