I applied on the nss college of engineering palakad first time.but i used to know that st Thomas is better in the cse field.so I entered here to pursue my dream.i didn't get any rejection from any other colleges.i left the first college and admitted here. Our college admission process is simple.the admission is mainly based on keam kerala entrance exam.the cuttoff are at a middle range in this college

Likes

The collage have and good legacy in sports and games. Also have good ground , basket ball court, Kabbadi court etc. After college we have practice session for preparing in games.
The college have good Placement session and many companies were driven to make part of it. Also have good programmes for students like Deckathon , NSS etc. College Arts festival were one of the best
The Collage have a good atmosphere. The faculty as so kind and have good teaching skills.They encourage as to study well and conduct extra classes when we have any doubts

Dislikes

College didnt have much canteen facility and a bad auditorium
The College didnt have good quality in uniform and doesnt provide coat used in labs
The college have less parking facility and rude behaviors if security

Admission:

I firstl applies to this college because of hearing good feedbacks of senior students.The college ambiance were nice compare to other collage.Didnt have any political issues or groups.So that the college have a peaceful atmosphere

St Thomas is a Good College you choose with Good facilities and facilities.

Likes

Infrastructure was good with a decent Library and good Labs.
Good Campus Environment,A Lake is present infront of the college making an awesome Environmental feel.

Dislikes

Sports activities not up to the mark and grounds were small.

A memorable Journey of my Btech life

The Facultys and the Infrastructure of the college was really good.
The Campus life and the Academic. The atmosphere of the Campus was really good

Dislikes

College sports activity's were very bad.

Admission:

First of all, I went to Sreebudha College over St Thomas College. But I didn't like the infrastructure and the atmosphere condition of that college well. These two colleges are near to my home. So I compare these two colleges with the pros and cons, academic level, faculty level, and placement level so I choose St. Thomas College at last. I got admission here easily because of my previous class mark. Because of the better mark, I got the computer science stream here.

Likes

The geographical placement of the campus made it beautiful
Overall environment was good and gave the college vibe

Dislikes

Fests and events were also less prioritised
The management was strict of useless stuff.

Admission:

I had applied to a few colleges nearby like Saintgits and Amaljyoti but the fee structure was too high so had to opt for this college. Few colleges I got rejected as I couldn't attend the qualifying exam due to corona. KEAM exam-qualified students can get admission to the college.

A college only good for studying

Dislikes

The college is very strict about studies so program are very less
They charge fine even for not wearing I'd card
Sport facilities are not very great so if u are someone interested in sports i wouldn't recommend u this college

Admission:

Admission process is very easy just contact them through their number the college management will tell u to fill some applications u have to fill it then pay some money .if you got rank in keam then fees will be very low

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Admission:

Candidates who have passed 12th examinations with physics, mathematics, and chemistry as their compulsory subjects with an aggregate of 45% are eligible to apply. I Got admission through the KEAM entrance exam conducted by the government of Kerala and the category allotted to me was state merit (SM). So the tuition fees were fixed by the government as INR 5O, OOO per yr and as it was a self-financing college they had many other fesses like special fees, placement training fees, etc. and at the time of admission, we had to pay 1000 Rs as admission fees and caution deposit of INR 10,000 (Refundable) and the 2023 year cutoff was 48567 for KEAM. 50-50 merit and management seats are available and at STCET a class comprised of 60 seats for each branch.

Admission:

For this course have to take maths physics chemistry in plus two. You have to clear keam exam to get seats whether you don't clear or attended you get admission in the NRI quota. Directly go to college and can take admission. Fee details depend on performance in keam or in higher secondary. There are also reservation benefits.
