The college was under MG university Kottayam at that time and now it's under APJ Abdul Kalam technological university. So college strictly followed the rules and regulations introduced by MG university especially in Course curriculum and exam structure. The course structure, syllabus everything was designed by the MG university only. I felt there should be some changes in Course curriculum as it's mainly focussing on theoretical only with less practical exposure which makes the situation difficult ones we start working realtime. So my colleague and teachers influenced me slot for making me a better professional.

My colleague provided placement training like softskill, aptitude test etc from 3rd year onwards. The interview selection was varied from company to company like aptitude test, interview, computer/programming proficiency etc.The placements are limited for braches like mechanical and civil branches, but number of placement was high for branches like ECE, IT, CSE. The college used to provide on campus and off campus placement drives also. College provided placements in MNC like TCS, CTS, IBS, Sutherland etc and also many startup like companies

"Saraang"- An itra college arts festival lasts for 2-3 days. "Mahasangram" - one of the biggest management fest conducted by MBA students. College also conducted department wise technical fest. "TORQUE" was mechanical fest and "Electrovaganza" for ECE department. College used to conduct basketball tournament every year in state level which was a very big event and college basketball team was University champions and had won many inter college basketball tournaments.

The college followed many fee structure followed by university norms like NRI, Management quota, College Merit, Government merit, sports quota etc. For sports quota there is no fees. For management quota, the fees was 90000. For college merit, fees was 60000. For Govt merit the fees was 10000. And for NRI there was deposit of 50000- 2 lakh and fees was 90000. This fees structure was for 2011- 2015 periods

Yes, college used provide some scholarship, also we can apply from our side also for Govt scholarships. I opted for education loan. College is a AICTE, NAAC accredited college so there is no issue with loan facility. College will provide a fees structure and we have to submit it to the corresponding bank to avail lain facility

Gender ratio was 60:40 except mechanical branch. The college also used to conduct arts and sports day. There is a one day industrial visit in 3rd and 4th year. and there is 3-4 days college tour in 4th year. There is no politics or campus election. Based on my campus experience, one thing lacking was there were no clubs like NSS, arts club, sports club, nature club

The college provided separate hostel for boys and girls. The hostel facilities like food, gym and sports access was average. The girls hostel is in college campus itself but boys hostel was separated (away) from college. The rooms are 4 people sharing and provided individual study table, bed, alamara etc

There is no active alumni network. But college try to conduct alumini in every year but the participation is very less.

I got the admission over there through the Entrance exam conducted by Kerala State. Based on the Entrance exam rank, I got admission. I choose this college as this college having better exam results in university level with good trained faculties. I choose ECE as it's having better results and placement options compared to other branches.

Faculties are excellent in my ECE department. Most of them are PhD/ PG staffs with well experienced and their AVG age is between 30-35yrs. The faculties are placing well role to achieve better college results. They also used to arrange extra care and classes for week students. There were approximately 20-30 staffs in department including lab staffs. Each department comes under an HOD who is well experienced with PhD.
