Course Curriculum Overview
Min pass Mark is 40 for end semester exam and 34 for internal. It can be achieved by any average student so as to clear semester. Only 3 months are available per semester in place of 6 months which is tedious for students. Between series test only one month gap is there which is hectic for students.
Internships Opportunities
Placement offering companies which are mentioned earlier also provide internship facilities with average stipend upto 15 k. Project and mini project ideas are developed under proper guidance of hod and academic coordinator
Placement Experience
From 6th semester onwards students are eligible for internship and placement opportunities. Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees is generally Rs.9650 for merit students. In addition exam fee is Rs 200 per subject which makes a total Rs 5000 for exam per semester. Caution fees is between 2000-3000. Admission fees for merit students alongwith all college facilities fees in the range of Rs 15000 estimated. For SC/SC students there is fee reduction some may even study without paying any fee according to the reservation eligibility. For all general category above mentioned fees structure is followed. There are many scholarshipa available such as MCM , egrantz etc. Minimum Rs 15000 is provided as scholarship per year to eligible students. For financially backward students laptops, scholarships are provided for free if they produce supporting documents.
Campus Life
The main technical fest named hestia in conducted in even semesters generally in the month April- May. Vast variety of books available in centralized Library as well as department Library Sports play important role in College in addition to academics Well set up football ground with experienced coach Dr manesh radheed hod of physical education department. Many clubs such as IEEE, ISTE, Music club, Dance club, Maths club, cycling club, sports club,arts club, film and drama club,Nss etc
Admission
TKM provide more placement opportunities than the rest of the colleges. The KEAM exam is the Main eligibility exam Approximate rank for ece is from 3000-4500 Spot admission is also available. Overall admission process is time-consuming.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio comes with 1 faculty for one class. Facilities are approachable any time from 9 -4. Mainly two series test are there per semester. It is of tight marking scheme to enable students to perform well in end semester university examination. 75% students pass in series.Min 10 out of 50 students fail. Course curriculum is strictly followed by faculties sometimes they fail to complete portions within stipulated time period and give rest portion for self study.
