Campus Life

5

Many clubs are there in clg which provides many social values in quality aspects of lfe.. And provides opportunity to improve ourself and polish our skills and potentials.. Basically helps us to get moral values of life..Helps us to become a better engineer

Admission

TKM College Advantages are like it makes a better engineer. Always like used to ensure what we understood and what are the outcomes we learned. Disadvantage is it doesn't make college life And apart from this. Academics are all nice

Faculty

5

TKM of College of Engineering has a very good faculty, They provide quality lectures. All are experts and scholars. I liked Athul Sir who is graduated from Barthon Hill college of engineering trivandrum, faculty of Electrical department. He explains everything in an easy way. Remedial classes are also available for students for scores less in class tests

Night Life

4

As a dayscholar I haven't ever experienced night life But probably the curfew time is 9.30 pm and hostellers used to vibe around And used to play sports and take training to make out their best in their skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the curriculum covers key subjects like Python, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Deep Learning right from the early semesters. The inclusion of electives such as IoT, Cloud Computing, and NLP made it future-relevant and versatile.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good. Since college is related to ISRO maximum students with cgpa above than 7 are elligible for ISRO interviews and are selected based on their performance. Apart from ISRO many campanies like Texas Instruments, UTS, Mercedez , also come here for recruuitment. Many also opt for M.tech and MBA after graduation

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The practical laboratory facilities are not available for every program. The exams are easy and have enough time. Even though the course needs improvement like some of the temporary staff should be replaced, some facilities for practical and theory classes are to be improved. Should need more practical aspects of what we will work on after graduating and securing a job.

Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies - [KUFOS], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Food Technology)
Reviewed on May 11, 2024(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.
