We are the first autonomous batch at tkmce.. first our senior said that we are going to get tough but then the academic starts it's very easy to study and handle things curriculums are well planned and well designed nothing to worry

Tkm College of engineering Kollam established in 1958 is a premier engineering institution in Kerala known for academic excellent experience the faculty and vibran campus life the fee structure varies by admission category government merit student around 40000 to 50000 annually totally 2 lakhs to 220000 over 4 year with slight annual increase management quota fear higher around 75000 to 100000 per year totally 4 lakhs for and a half lakh received category students benefit from significant reduce to be offered totally 20000 to 30000 for the NTR course

About campus life it is very nature friendly and spacious or so tecmc is a better place to build a better future I am so lucky to have there it have a stroke sports background and we have a subject in our first sem to focus on sports and yoga

I know this college from my 12th standard I been work hard for to get in this college I also the sports curriculum academic staffs lectures everyone in here is so much better because they were studied in the same college mostly not all of them We have to attempt keam to enter this college

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.
