Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Class Size : 128Course Fees : INR 440000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I've only been to 1 internship so far so i can't really say much other than what i seen. There are both paid as well as free internships available in the college. They train you for a few weeks before they actually give you a project.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For those below a certain range of income or from backward castes do get an additional scholarship. Normal scholarship requires that you keep your cgpa at 8.5 or above i believe. There are a lot of interships coming up which gives stipend based on performed. Right now its Freston analytics.

Campus Life :

Seniors are friendly and campus life is enjoyable. You do have a lot of events per month and its pretty lively here. We do have a pretty good ground as well as a basket ball court. There are a lot of strident clubs like the chess club , music club etc. There is a big focus on peer learning communities which is fantastic.

Admission :

Admission process was fine overall , They either needed a good KEAM rank, or JEE percentile works fine too. Since i had a decent JEE percentile rank i went for that option. JEE is of course pretty tough compared to keam but it can be managed. KEAM is out of 900 where 400 above is considered good Form can be found in their respective sites

Faculty :

Most of the faculty are professors and are pretty friendly to everybody else around them.I do interact as well as approach them when i have doubts and such or any other questions. Ratio is around 64:7

Campus is choosen wisely

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually the university curriculum is bit old fasion.Like the technology is a way head of the things that we are studying in the sessions.But the basis are well learned from it.The improvement we need in that is that to get out of the instituion as a proffesional that can handle the new technolgy that the real world work in.The curriculum is need to improve so much as per the technology improves the students want to know what all changes that are happening in the real world and they want to be trained according to that.

My Journey at MITS

Placement Experience:

Our campus placement will begin from 7th semester. From 5th semester onwards college will provide training for placements and we have placement cell for this. An average LPA of 5 is provided from our college. Good amount of companies visit our campus for placement and we also get oppertunity to go for off campus placement

Placement Experience:

In the 7th and 8th semesters, the students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys, and Spyridian, are the companies that often come for placements .3 -4 lakhs is the highest package given by these companies.The percentage of students getting placement is about 50-70. My plan is to go for higher studies or to go for a job.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
