KMEA Engineering College, Ernakulam was established in the year 2002 by Kerala Muslim Educational Association. College leaves no stone unturned for overall development of students. College offers 6 undergraduate and 4 post graduate courses in engineering and technology. College is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

The campus area is pretty much good and everything is easily accessible

Dislikes

There is a Green Block in which the stairs are pretty much messed up
In Lab the equipments are pretty much old and needs to be replaced

Admission:

I chose this college because it was my last option as I couldnt get good marks in Entrance examinations and pretty much all my old school friends also joined here so i also kind of took admission here

I didint applaid for any other college because i got here in first attempt so dont chose any other college no rejection from other colleges didnt applaid for it. U want to score mark keam or jee examination both are for engineering students. This is the eligibility criteria and also u have to be a science student

The is big around 100 of acers situated in a hill.
The has the best pass percentage results last year.
The has best faculties and infrastructure.

Dislikes

The college bus service cost is too high.
The kmea college is too stricy towards yhe students.

Admission:

The college admission is by management, nri and keam merit. I got admission in keam with a good rank my fees is 72k yhe kmea is the best college for computer science and engineering. The min marks to get admission here is 80 percent.

The admission is by 3 categories keam merit, management, nri quota. The min mark required for computer science engineering is 80 percentage. THE exam is an average level For computer science engineering more numbers of seats are available.

Likes

The campus is eco friendly filled with trees and plants, there is a nature club to maintain these things also the campus is plastic free. The college bus services around 50 kilometers from the campus which is a huge plus point

Dislikes

The structure of the building blocks are very confusing and it's difficult to understand the architecture behind it.
The transport facilities other than the college bus is not that good. The public transport is always very crowded and very few private buses in time to time

Admission:

All students who've had good marks in 12th standard are eligible for the course. My admission was on management quota. I had to pay the full fees of 72,000 excluding the donation fees which is around 10,000 and NRI fees of 50,000 as i hadn't written KEAM entrance exam. The application form is available on the college website.

A middle class engineering college.

Likes

Most of the facilities are really friendly and will support you for studies in any way possible, the will also help you to even clear your back papers, the campus have a library facility with all the academic text you can imagine.
The colelage have a Really big campus with a lot of space. It's situated in a bit high ground, which helps us to isolate from rest of the local areas. The campus is also have calm and quiet atmosphere here, The sun set view from the top is really good
The collage provide all the facilities needed. All the labs have enough equipments and each have seperate workshops,

Dislikes

Initially the introduce us to alot of clubs but the club activities are minimal. They are only limited to the club members as well.

Admission:

I got here through KEAM entrance exams, my rank was really low, I got admission through caste priority, You need to pass the 12th with really good grade.ie , atlest 90% and really good score in KEAM entrance exam to get admission here, or you have register your seat her before KEAM exam

The college offers B. Tech and M. Tech in 6 and 4 specializations, respectively. B.Tech is offered in Lateral Entry as well.

The process of application has to be completed online through the official website or offline by obtaining the application form from KMEA Engineering College.
The minimum eligibility for admission in B. Tech is passed in 10+2 in Science stream with at least 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and 50% marks in Mathematics separately.
For B. Tech Lateral Entry, the minimum eligibility requirement is a pass in Engineering/Technical Diploma of three-year duration.
Selection in B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral Entry is based on the merit in the qualifying and KMEA examination.
The minimum eligibility requirement for M. Tech is a BE/B.Tech degree with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
Selection in M.Tech is based on the merit in the qualifying examination and GATE score.
