- Faculties are very straight forward and approachable they are more like friends so you feel really welcomed
- Even though faculties are like friends they are good at managing academics so there is a very good balance between academics and fun
- Good amount of exposure in form of site visits and case studies which enables students to learn better
Dislikes
- Hostel food could be better in terms of quantity as well as quality altho the taste is good
- Network connectivity is not there so the only source is the collage wifi which is extremely unreliable
- The location is not very accessible and the people around are not very friendly since they have a dispute with the collage authorities so going out alone is mot safe
Course Curriculum Overview
The carriculum is interactive and helps devwlop critical thinking and problem solving skills the integraction of technological aspects in form of softwares like cad sketchus and righno helps a lot. Altho most of it starts from semester 5 which could be applied earlier for better learning.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are dependent soully on the students and the skill level they develop throughout the years. Internship starts from secind half of fourth year or so called S8 which lasts for 6 months and students have gotten packages reaching 60000 rupees in internships.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fees starts with 1.2 lacks rupees in the first and continues with 90 thousand rupees throughout the remaining semesters. So the fees you could say decreases after the first year. This is in case of merit seats and if you opt for management the fee structure is approximately double the amount you pay for merit which is 2 lacks first year and 1.8 lacks during the remaining sems.
Campus Life
The social life is not very prominent since there are only 400 to 500 students in the collage but that helps the faculty and staff to focus on us better, but we do get good amount of exposure through exhibitions and programs conducted by the collage.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is clean compared to other collages especially the bathrooms are always clean. There are adequate amount of cleaning staff. The food is a matter of concern tho the quantity and quality are very questionable lately. There have been instances of finding worms in our food as well.
Admission
Avani has been known for its work ethics and unique methodology in teaching subjects which attracted me a lot plus the fact that the collage became one of the top preffered architecture collage in kerala within the limited time of its establishment was a huge deal and made me opt for this collage than the other ones
Faculty
Faculty members are actually woking proffessionals and there is a good amount of student faculty ratio. There extremely friendly and open minded. B arch is a 5 year course and is know to be hectic and additionally avani is known to have one of the tightest barch cariculums compared to other collages.
