Likes
- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

I have choosen Metallurgy according to my rank,I feel satisfied but there are some problems which we face while everyone saying that only CSE ece are better,yeah I hope placements should come to all branches equally

- Weather is so plaseant and peace in this college.
- Faculty is good here but be careful not that much favourable.
- Sports facilility is good u can play any sport or game here.
Dislikes
- Dogs are more in this college but they donot harm us.
- Some Bhawans are too old but the re construction is also started
- We have more dust as re construction is going on.
Placement Experience:
As our college is IIT we have ample of Placement oppurtunities.The thing is to concentrate on your work and especially studies .
You can learn coding if you are intetrsted .
Maintain good CG which is very very important for your placements.

- Seniors because they helped in many things
- Friends because they mark our proxy whenever we are not in class

- I don't like mess food that is not tasty
- 75% attendance is mandatory this is not fair
- Placement in civil engineering there is no more money in this department

I'm a student of BTech (civil engineering) this course introduces me to civilian life and the basic structure of engineering. This is important and civil engineering is the mother of all engineering. It fulfills the basic need of service.

- Very good library like you can go there and sit for 24 hours
- Very cleaniness in roods and good sports facilities

My course have been in demand these years like maths and Computing is really a great choice if you want to explore data science , ml and artificial intelligence as these things require good amount of knowledge of maths and core fundamentals

- The library.Almost all kinds of books are easily available.
- The placement stats.The average package is pretty good.

- There is too much competition.Sometimes it gets toxic.
- The focus on fields other than software is pretty less.
- It would have been better if air conditioning could have been provided in the hostel rooms.
Placement Experience:
The pplacements of our college are just amazing.(Thats what the iits arte famous for)The average package foir electrcial engineering is around 26-28 lakhs per annum.Almost all the mnc like google, microsoft, goldman sachs etc visit for placements.More than 70 percent of the students get placed and many others go for startups and higher studies.Right now i have not decided yet what i want to do after my degree.

- The provision of canteens 24/7 where you can chit chat and have fun
- You can goo out of campus anytime you want
Dislikes
- Mess food is sometimes worst. Some don’t even visit mess once in a month
- Academic thingy is something hectic and ofc there is a lot of competition
- You’ll loose most of your friend groups in 2y itself lest with a few genuine ones

After completion of 6th semester there is a placement season
A lots of companies come every year and they place a. Lot fraction of students
Ofc there is not 100% placement but with goot skills amd cgpa you can sit in most of them
Even though your cgpa lacks you can sit om the basisi of your skills

- Sports facilities are awesome you can play any game even you dont know how to play
- Fest are the best part of college life and here fest budgets are very high
- Clubs they frequently organize events such as movie screening, fos , etc to entertain the fellow students
Dislikes
- Mess food is very oily and chapatis are not cooked properly and no facility of regional food
- The grading system and academic difficulty is very high
- Hostel rooms are so bad and they forcefully doublet the room which are for singles

From 7th sem
There are a lot of companies here for example google, quant , tata , jaguar , hindustan liver and no of offer will be around 700
Highest package goes around 1.5 cr domestic and average is different for all branches combined average will be 18lpa

- The campus with greenary nature and peacefull environment
- College life with good friends and good education and events held every year and clubs.
- Most interesting things are cultural and technical fests were people enjoy
Dislikes
- Some of the hostels are not up to mark and they should be renovated
- As I am a south Indian I don't like the north Indian food so I am not satisfied with mess food
Placement Experience:
The placements are good in IIT ROORKEE as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in India
From 4 th semester ending you will get internship
Companies like Amazon Flipkart Google Microsoft and all other popular companies.
Highest package will be aroud 1.5 crore per annum
And the percentage of placements will be around 90 to 95 based on branch
My plans is to get good job and work in it

- Overall environment. Interact with new people make some good memories also from here there are several places to discover
- Strict action against illegal and fighting activities

- Curriculum and some restriction for 1st year students
- Mess food which taste decreases.with time

From 7th semester onwards.There are two placement seasons in an year in which almost 1500 companies are come to hire student from this student. Almost 70 percent student got aced and also highest package is 3 crore rupees given to a student of cse .

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
- The videos are extremely short and sometimes fail to explain the entire concept
- Lab web console and Hue editor face technical issues on a regular basis.
Ultimately it can be said that it is a decent learning platform that provides training at subsidiary rates and is growing at an exponential rate.
