- Mess food is sometimes worst. Some don’t even visit mess once in a month
- Academic thingy is something hectic and ofc there is a lot of competition
- You’ll loose most of your friend groups in 2y itself lest with a few genuine ones
Course Curriculum Overview
The exams are conducted every semester with a mid term The teaching scheme here is a little tough You have to have atleast 75% attendance which is a problem for many students I am in 2nd year and the 3rd and 4th semesters are a bit hectic duse to classes from 8 in the morning to 6 in evening
Internships Opportunities
I am still in 4th semester but i can say many of my friends or batchmates already have paid internships. You just have to explore the fields you are interested in and apply for various off campus internships. Also on campus internships are provided in 3rd year starting but need a particular cgpa
Placement Experience
After completion of 6th semester there is a placement season A lots of companies come every year and they place a. Lot fraction of students Ofc there is not 100% placement but with goot skills amd cgpa you can sit in most of them Even though your cgpa lacks you can sit om the basisi of your skills
Fees and Financial Aid
Here there is a fee wavier for whose family income is less than 5lpa 2/3rd of the fee iss less for these students Also there is a provision for loan in sbi inside tha campus or you can take the educational loan from any other bank

There are various clubs in the campus where you can explore your potential in every field There are many sports activities and fields Gym is also provided The campus is all green with lots of plantation around And between this green lawn there is put thomson building which enhance your success of achieving iit

There is wifi avail available in whole campus and ofc hostels Meal is quite okayish in mess specially in boys hostel Hostels provide a home like environment whiche also celebrates every festivals No need of pg
Admission
You should clear jee advance with atound4k-5k rank for general students to get mechanical iit roorkee. A josaa counselling will be there to allot according to your rank. Obc and st-sc reservation is there according to the josaa
