Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya - Review

I choose this course because this college is semi government college in Haridwar . And fees are also not so high as compared to other private colleges . Real world applications are there as we have learn alot of knowledge in our first year about that like communication skills , public speaking , webinar and seminar etc. improvement is only needed in the good infrastructure and much more advanced technology should be there to deal with . The timings are of 3hrs in the semester exams and in the sessional it is of 1 hrs . Difficulty level is moderate .

Total fees levied by the institution is 800000. Breakdown of fees are like :- 500000 for college tution fees and lumpsum 3 lakhs for hostel fees . Altogether 8 lakhs rupees for 4 years . Fees are taken semester wise. Semester wise fees are 68250 and 55250 . Total 127250 for first year and 124250 for the rest respective year . Fees for all category of students are same. All of my batchmates payment same fees . Scholarship are given to students by their states only . College do not provides scholarships to the students .

The annual fest name is JANAGANI and it held in the months of December. Sometimes in February. Books are easily accessible from the library but they will verify you first that you are the students of this college or not . Facilities and technology like projectors and wifi are there . Also projectors in each class is there . Sports and extracurricular activities are half once in a year . They conduct matches between the teams and in cricket they called it GPL - Gurukul premier league in which all students from 1st 2nd and 3rd year participate . Student run clubs are like Microsoft club , GDSC club and udhyam etc. it impacts a lot in student life as it helps in resume building with skills, certification and experience.

Hostel facilities are good and comfortable as they provide all necessary equipments like bed almirah table etc. But some facilities are not so good like bathroom and water purifier . Also food quality is too worst . They just use their shoes to wash potatoes that's the big no to college food I must say . If they don't charge money for food then I must stay there . But they included fees of food and hostel together. PGs nearby are like Sharma pg and ashirwad hostel pg. Otherwise you can contact for room of the local people .

I have applied for many colleges based on my percentile but I got this college . And I got confirmed admission in the csab round . I choose this college because I want to study in the government college . Yes , I get rejection from all the other colleges where I have applied . Just less preparation make me here in this college . Admission process is the jee main marks and 12th marks also . You can directly apply for admission from the website also . Just pay 1000 rupees for registration and then they just tell you through the website for reporting then come and visit the campus .

Faculty to student ratio is good because half of the student don't come to college for classes . Teachers are approachable and relationship between students and teachers depends upon students how they behave with them . Mayank Aggarwal the hod and dean of our college , I like him most because he always try to contact most of the companies in our college . I don't like the infrastructure of this college otherwise all faculties are good except one faculty whose name is Mr. Prateek who teach us electronics . He used to write everything on the board just by copying it from his notes . Exams are taken like sessional exams and semester exams. Exams are not so difficult. It is moderate and easy .

Open gym is there in my college because the old gym had got fire in the past and it didn't open from that time . Library and cafeterias gets closed by 10 p.m in the night and opens at 8 a.m . Hostel timings are 6 a.m to 10 p.m . Campus timings are 10 a.m to 5 p.m . Famous hangout places are library and canteen of our college but they charge more money as compared to others . Nightout walking with friend places are the university campus only because we find peace there .
