For a 9 GPA and above, you have to work hard in all spheres, including high attendance, CT marks, practical marks, etc. Higher the internal marks, higher the GPA. All this depends on your college and how they mark your internals. The syllabus is almost similar to that of other Central universities of India and hardly changes in it.
