- JEE Main 2025 exam dates have been announced for the January Session. The exam is scheduled from January 22 to January 31, 2025. Students seeking admission to B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Planning courses can apply online through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The last date to apply is November 22, 2024. Only the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main 2025 qualified candidates will be eligible to sit for JEE Advanced 2025 (conducted for engineering admission to IITs).

Fees and Financial Aid:
The yearly fees is about 300000 divided into semester wise fees 150000 per semester and you can avail scholarship of 100000 per semester if your parents in come is less than 100000 per year regardless of any category

- Weather is so plaseant and peace in this college.
- Faculty is good here but be careful not that much favourable.
Dislikes
- Dogs are more in this college but they donot harm us.
- Some Bhawans are too old but the re construction is also started

THe Fee structure of IIT Roorkee is 1 Lakh per annum , for 4 years. AS we know there is NSP for all Students. From college you may get Scholarship based on your academic performance . Ph.d Students here are working as Teaching Assistants in their respective Departments.

- Campus Life, is so good you go to class interact with different people from different place with bright minds.
- Greenery of campus is really so good. We love roaming around the campus.
Dislikes
- My course curriculum as it is very hectic for me as I m not interested in core field research.
- Double shared room in second year is the worst thing happened sadly for my batch onwards before this single rooms were given.
Fees and Financial Aid:
So the fee structure for all is like: Total fee -100000(tution)+30000-50000(accomodation and mess). Tution fee is only for general and OBC students not for SC/ST. For fee remission there is SCSP website for IITR where you can apply and get tution fee waiver only if your parental income is below 5lac. Full tution fee waiver 100000 for income below 1 lac 1/3 tution fee waiver 33000 above 1 below 5lac They ask for ITR filing in the scholarship form

- Getting grades is too difficult here especially in physics and circuital departments

- Boys: Girls ratio is so low , there are less girls in campus comparatively .

IT DEPENDS ON THE ADMINISTRATION'S POLICY ABOUT FEE HIKES. COST TO STUDY - IF YOU HAVE A BACKGROUND IN THE ECONOMIC WEAKER SECTION THEN IT WOULD BE MINIMAL. FOR SC, ST, OBC, GEN-EWS - INSTITUTE FEE - 0, ONLY HOSTEL FEE. FOR THE HOSTEL FEE ALSO YOU WILL GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS (NSP, THOMPSON SCHOLARSHIP).
Fee Structure And Facilities:
James Thomason Scholarship was very popular in my University and IITR offers James Thomason Scholarship to all those who have got with AIR up to 250. This scholarship had a monthly benefit of 25000 for those who were selected for this and the same kind of different scholarships was also available. As I was not eligible for the scholarship so I had to pay 250000 every year.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure is pocket friendly. There is only 14040/year without hostel fee and for hostel it is around 5000-6000/year. There is no hidden charges. There is a scholarship for students who belongs to SC/ST/OBC or handicapped but that's a very complicated process . There is no industry exposure no placements.

It is difficult to determine which is better; Mechanical Engineering in IIT Hyderabad or Engineering Physics at IIT Roorkee without knowing what your expectations from the degree are and your personal preferences. Nevertheless, I am here to spill a few facts about EP at IIT Roorkee.
- Engineering Physics at IIT Roorkee is a multidisciplinary branch, with courses from Physics, Electrical, Electronics, Mathematics, and Chemistry departments.
- The courses included in the curriculum are quite demanding and can be really challenging for those who have little interest in Science
- Engineering Physics provided no core placements after completion of the BTech degree.
- Those who have an interest in a specific field of Physics can pursue research as it has great scope.
- You can also work as a scientist in DRDO or ISRO.
- You can also opt for fields like Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, or Quantitative Finance where people with majors in CSE, Applied Maths, and Physics are preferred.
- Software Engineering roles are also available for EP students although it is challenging to manage the academics along with programming.
I would recommend you go for an easier branch that has less workload so that you can focus well on coding and get placed right after BTech in IIT.
