Which one is better - Thapar University (EIC) or JIIT Noida (CSE)?

Thapar University in all aspects is a lot better than JIIT. But I am not quite aware of the EIC branch. You can interact with ex-students of the institute online, to get a better idea about the course. If you think it will be a better choice, go for it. According to placements, Thapar is much better than JIIT Noida. Most of the companies that participate in Thapar’s placement program are well reputed like Microsoft, Infosys, and many more. so , when i registered for the college the per semester fee was around 1,80,000 and it remained constant during the course, the fees i paid for hostel was based on the hostel you were alloted ranging from 45000 to 57000 per semester, the mess fee was around 21000 per semester. my friend was in cse so he has given greater amount then me around 210000, per semeser

Fees is approximate 4.61 lakhs for first year of the degree. There is a provision of annual scholarship which is totally merit based on the basis of CGPA of the student . Campus Jobs Opportunity are also available for the student.

The fee structure of Thapar is costly and increases 10% early per semester, but TIET provides different scholarships. Scholarships are provided to definte number fo students.1st year scholarship is based on the merits on which you are admitted to college from 2nd year the scholarships are based on CGPA scored and also for students who are financially weak.

Fess is surely high at Thapar University But there are many scholarship programs for meritorious students and also merit cum means students I am currently a second-year student but there are many companies visiting the campus offering high package

Thapar University

The fees are quite high if including all expenses such as hostel, mess, semester fees and daily expenses it can go up to 400000-500000. But it also offers scholarships to students which can be applied for, after clearing some formalities as per college policies we can get scholarships such as tuition fees, etc. But on the brighter side college also offers jobs and placements with good packages though the fees is high but will also provide a return of investment on the fees.

A though about thapar university

Fees are huge in Thapar I think highest in north India after Bits Pilani which is around 20 lacs to 25 lacs for 4 years and the college do not provide good scholarships also. Also, there is 10% fees hike every year.

There is also a scholarship provision for toppers, every student who is top 10% in the class in terms of academics can get a scholarship. The fees structure is a bit costly compared to other colleges but the facilities provided by the college make up for it. There is a pre-defined and reasonable fee hike annually.
