IIIT Sri City has a modern and well-equipped campus. The campus has air-conditioned classrooms, computer laboratories and research labs, and a library. The campus also consists of a student activity centre, a gym, and a games facility, including grounds for football, basketball, and volleyball. According to Sampath's review on Collegedunia concludes that, on the whole, IIIT Sri City provides excellent academics with great faculty, hands-on learning and research opportunities, a vibrant campus life including cultural and technical fests, clubs, and sports facilities, and is reasonably priced with scholarships for SC/ST students. There is not enough exposure off-campus, and there were few industry visits. The hostel is closed at 10:30 pm, and campus facilities close early.

Likes

The college teaching staff are very experienced top faculty.
The classrooms are sophisticated and infrastructure is nice.
There are multiple clubs and workshops going on to improve technical and cultural development of the student and also to improve their physical well being.

Dislikes

The number of blocks are minimum and hostels are somewhat bad.
The girls to boys ration is approximately 1:8.
During the night some insects and small snakes are appeared inside hostels.

Various companies recruiting from the campus and highest package being offered

Placements in our college are much better than the remaining colleges.The average package of CSE course was 14.5 L and the highest package was 41L during the year 2024.The major companies visited are Amazon HP TCS Swiggy Google and many more.

Campus internship opportunities and projects

Students are encouraged to take academic internships opportunities and the placement offers also brings such opportunities to students.Microsoft Amazon Yahoo Swiggy Bosch are some of the companies where the students are currently indulged in their high end lead projects.

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

The course curriculum in our college is nice as the course from the beginning itself makes the student move in their field.Also there are multiple workshops and hackathon going on around the year.There are multiple clubs enhamsing technical development in which students can join according to their interest.Also the college provide internship during the final year.

Total fees of the course and scholarship

The total tuition fee for the program is 13,20,000 at IIIT Sri City-Indian Institute of Information technology BTech including tution fees,mess charges,lab fees etc.Our batchmates also paid the same amount of fees but some of them have received scholarship form the government.These scholarships include Vidya Deevena (AP) which provides approx 3,20,000 for four years and National Scholarship Portal.There are some of the banks which gives loans at a lost interest rate.

Fests and infrastructure of the college

Infrastructure is nice and the clubs in our college are great.There are many clubs involving in technical and cultural development of the student.And there are two major fests happening in an year and they are amazing.There will be an NSS campaign happening and students can volunteer to offer their services including garbage collection,cleaning ,planting etc.

Faculty and examination pattern of the college

The faculty in our college are graduated form top colleges of the country and some of them has completed their graduation from abroad.The recent exam schema was a mid exam in the middle of semester which is for half of the syllabus and the end sem exam in the end of the semester which is for the entire syllabus.The exams are moderate mostly while some of them are difficult but the grading is relative.The exams conducted vere strictly and there is no chance of copying.Strict penalty will be charged in case of malpractice.

Admission process and eligibility criteria of the college

I got into this college through jee councelling.I was prepared for all the colleges that I have kept as references in the councelling.I was expecting more but I got into this one.But it wa s a nice college anyway so I didn't get much disappointed.Also I applied for RMK College,Banglore which I had gotten the seat and after a long thinking I went into IIIT Sri City.

Night Life

The nightlife in our college is nice and I like it the most.There are many students going to tej gym during the nights some of the student will be playing games like volleyball, basketball and shuttle.The are is suitable for walking and the night time is great.

I chose IIITS over other academic institutions, Good Faculty, Worthy Placements, Good Campus Environment, Fees which is lower than other colleges like VIT/SRm. I couldn't get into Other Top Colleges NIT Trichy- Missed Cutoff by a small margin due to category-wise seats, IIIT Hyd - Didnt apply. Admission Process Eligibility - 10+2 , JEE Mains only , Councelling Process through JoSAA/CSAB . Cutoff around 14k-18k rank for CSE, 24k-30k for ECE.

I didn't like the college because there is no proper signals for mobile

I applied for the many college like nit nagland nit mizoram, nit roorkee, iiit raipur nit kerale and some other colleges.I didn't get rejected from any colleges which I applied. The addmission for our college iiit sri city is first we should apply in josaa and csab we should this college in this jossa and later we will get selected based on the rank after we get addmission in the college

Review IIIT Sri City

Dislikes

No auditorium, sports complex in the college. Proper facilities aren't there for playing games which are supposed to be played in indoor courts like badminton.

Admission:

I applied for some NIT's like NIT Allahabad , NIT Calicut etc and IIIT's like IIIT Allahabad , IIIT Gwalior etc and did not get those colleges. I had a chance to get admission in IIIT Kancheepuram AIDS but I heard the college I joined is good, so I joined this college

Our college is primilarly located at Sricity which is surrounded by many industries and companies, and nearer to chennai and nellore .

Dislikes

College infrastucture is not good it wants some developement.

my perspection on my college

Likes

classrooms are better than iit's it looks premium as it made just few years ago and equipped with central ac for better studing environment

Dislikes

boys : girl ratio is also not good as it is 10:1
infrastructure of the college is not good due to there is only 1 academic block for all departments

as i got some what good percentile jee mains i went too josa and analysed about diifernt colleges and i kept some priorties by gathering some information as i choose this college because it has good average package and better atmosphere based on student and faculty

Well, I have friends studying in various IIITs across the country and according to their experience, IIIT Sri City is indeed a good choice. While there is no specific reason to choose it above other IIITs, here are some insights you need to know.

IIIT Sri City has a very strong governing body including top academicians and top industry personnel. No doubt that within a few years of establishment, IIIT Sri City has been progressing at an unmeasurable pace and it will be among the top IIITs of India.
With neighboring institutes like Krea University, you will get great exposure to the liberal arts and humanities from the finest professors from all over India.
The placement statistics of IIIT Sri City are good despite being newly established institutes. Even in terms of the alumni network, it is quite prominent and growing every year. Yes, IIIT Sri City offers PhD course in correspondence mode. Apart from PhD, all the courses offered by IIIT Sri City is full time on campus courses.

Yes, the Ms course offered by IIIT Sri City is a residential course. The institute has all basic amenities including cafeteria, sports complex, WiFi enabled campus, laundry, etc.
