Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was the focal point of the college. My reason for taking up this course was because I am someone who loves money and its working therefore finance and am always intrigued with the business world therefore BBA. The course was highly efficient along with thier efficient faculties. They covered all major parts of a business as a whole be it marketing, operations, sales, financing, accounting etc. It was relevant to the knowledge required in real time on professional grounds. The area of improvement for the course could have been that it should have emphasised on learning of professional tools like Tally, Power BI, SQL etc. which helps in the current job world. I have talked about the exams in detail int he previous section itself.

Faculty

The focal point of the college was its course curriculum and its faculty that's it, all the starts in the review are just for that and nothing else. The curriculum is completely related to the knowledge required on a professional grounds. The faculty too was good in most of the subjects. The examinations were internal (50) and external (50) where internals comprised of projects assignments presentations and 20 marks ICA or midterm. External 50 marks were of a final exam whose paper was set generally by Mumbai campus and then checked by other college branches. All of this combining to a total of 100 marks each semester with a total credit of 4. Therefore, the semester GPA and a year's CGPA is calculated out of 4.

Year wise fees was approx 170000 for this year. It is taken semester wise. Fees has been increasing every year by around 10k rupees. There are scholarships for people who score good in their 12th boards, CUET exams. There are multiple scholarships available for people with lower income. An alumni fees is taken from all the students apart from the normals fees. It's around 2000 rupees.

Course Curriculum Overview

Decently competitive course structure, not at par maybe with the top institutions but overall the course curriculum is good, especially in the 2nd and 3rd year of the course. If the courses get a bit toughers I guess I would be great for real world applications.

Faculty to student ratio is pretty decent for bcom. But for the bba batch ( which is the last batch of bba and is going to shutdown by 2026) they really struggle with the student to teacher ratio. Almost every faculty is unproffesional and they do not have enough knowledge about the topics they are teaching. Theres 2 semester in a year and theyr of 100 marks. Its pretty easy they give free marks just to improve college reputation

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

120000 is the yearly fees they ask us to pay the whole fees at the same time. There was no such caution, or admission fees. The only cumpolsury charges are 8000 rs per year for 2 semester exam charges. For the reservation quota im not sure but the fees is reduced by 50%. No scholarships are provided.

Campus Life

When I show this clg from outside it was very good and the campus was also okay but interior of this college will give you a negative view as it's not good as show in the pictures and for the festival they are held but not in a proper way their is something or the other wrong. One time it's okay we'll understand but everytime it happens same goes to sports they should organise sports because or them students have lost interest and if by any chance they keep also no one will participate.

Faculty

Mostly faculties are overall good with the behaviour but as for some they don't know how to speak in english and then they can't explain also properly. As for the best teacher's I personally like Nida ma'am, Anupriya Ma'am, Nayra ma'am, Rekha ma'am as they teach well very and know how to take lectures wisely. They know how to communicate will students and make them pay attention on what they are speaking.

Ques. How good is the IMI Delhi BFS course?

● Top Answer By Nirmala Gupta on 15 Mar 23

Ans. If you are considering a career in finance, the BFS (Banking and Financial Services) course might be the right fit for you. It is a specialized course that focuses primarily on finance-related subjects, and it can give you a significant advantage in front of companies looking to hire for roles like Relationship Managers, Auditors, and Consultants. On the other hand, the PGDM Finance course offers more flexibility as it allows you to combine your finance major with another major in marketing or operations, or even two or three minors. This can be beneficial if you are a fresher or if you are not entirely sure about what subjects are best for you. In the first year of the program, you will have the opportunity to explore all the available options before deciding on your area of specialization. If you are confident about your interest in finance, then the BFS course can be an excellent choice. However, keep in mind that it might limit your exposure to other subjects and industries. If companies are looking for candidates with open-ended roles, they might not consider BFS students who are solely trained in finance. In contrast, PGDM Finance students who have combined their finance major with other subjects can provide a broader skill set that is more attractive to such companies. BFS students have a smaller batch strength compared to PGDM Finance students, which can be an advantage in terms of early placements. However, it is essential to note that placements ultimately depend on the student's caliber and performance, regardless of their course or batch. It is also worth noting that BFS students might have fewer options in terms of recruiting companies compared to students in marketing and finance. In conclusion, it is crucial to weigh the pros and cons of both courses and decide based on your interests, career goals, and research. Both courses have their unique advantages and disadvantages, and ultimately, your performance in the course will matter more than which one you choose.Read more

● Top Answer By Devika Choudhary on 18 May 24

Ans. I am a BBA (Finance and International Business) student at Christ University. Currently I’m in the 2nd year of my degree. No, it is not compulsory to have done your +2 with Maths as one of the subjects for admission into BBA (FIB) at Christ University Bangalore. The eligibility criteria for admission into BBA (FIB) at Christ is that you must  pass in class 12 (10+2) with not less than 55% marks. However, I would recommend you to opt for Maths as one of the subjects in class 11th and 12th. Doing so will help build your mathematical foundation. This will in turn help you during the course of your degree.  I hope this answer solved your query.Read more
