Course Curriculum Overview
I was mostly fascinated by the extra curricular they provided, and opportunties to showcase your talent, and the college conducted hackathons and different workshops. The frequency of examinations were also well paced in my opinion.
Placement Experience
Placements in my opinion is pretty average however there are companies mainly coming for btech and that too computer science branch, rest have to struggle as roles are coming mainly for sales for non-btech students and its advisable to keep looking off campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The detailed fees structure included semester wise, that was 50,000 in six installments, including other benefits for state students and diversity points. The batchmates were from diverse parts of India, since the college is in Kolkata, mostly Bengali Community and then Bihar, Jharkhand and Odhisa.
Campus Life
Overall experience in the college has been great for me, I was in the literay committee of my college and was able to showcase my skills on a larger pool of audience, moreover there was access of library books and journals, also students mostly played football and cricket.
Admission
I chose techno main saltlake as its one of the top private colleges in kolkata, in the hearts of saltlake, where students gets a vibrant atmosphere of posh locality and networking opportunies, which leveraged my skills and academic persona.
Faculty
Faculties are very much proficient in their subjects explaining indepth and solving queries when asked. One of the Faculties I like the most soumik sir who taught DBMS. There were total of 12 exams, 2 each in semester.
Interview Experience
Yes we were engaged in GDs and written test workshops which was encouraged by college to attend, also during my admission had two rounds of interview for Management BBA program, Which was conducted online.
Night Life
There is cafeteria and since it is not a residential program students mostly take up pgs and flat to reside, and hence no gym services as such, there are many places to hangout, as there were big companies near the college like tcs, wipro it gave the corporate crowd with big hotels and cafe to hangout nearby
