My college experience

The course curriculum in this college is been divided into three main departments. They are Bachelor in Business Administration known as BBA, B.Sc in Hospitality and hotel administration and Bachelor in Computer Application known as BCA. B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration has a course structure divided into six semesters. While the BBA and BCA also follow a course curriculum for about six semesters.

The college has a remarkable placement record. It has a "Campus-connect" college selected by Infosys, Bangalore. Industry projects are delivered by our students through the cloud computing lab. Students are sent to companies and industries for In-plant training on a regular basis. The college also provides the students with motivational talks regularly by industrial experts.

A very feasible fee structure is followed by the college to educate every student equally in their field of interest. All the students under different department find it easy to pay the fees without affecting the economy of their own family. Every department has the same fee structure. The Bachelor of Hospital Management has a fee structure of 62k annually. While BBA has 48k and BCA has 50k, both to be paid annually.

BSTM students are curious and engaged; active involvement outside the classroom is central to BSTM’s culture. A huge variety of Student activities and events, athletics, exhibitions, performances and educational opportunities keep campus lively. Each day brings new experiences that allow students to engage their passions. BSTM is committed to supporting all of its students. Health and wellness, campus and community involvement, spiritual life and a network of support.

I have opted for Hostel in this management since its infrastructure and facilities is just amazing that one could ever experience. All necessary facilities are available in the hostel. Bstm’s close-knit community is reflected in its housing and dining systems. The rooms in the Hostel situated on the serene and unruffled campus are conducive for the assimilation of knowledge.

The college maintains an alumni network. This alumni forum helps the students gain more help right from choosing the college to knowing about the job opportunities in the college. They help the college as well as the juniors by providing their assistance whenever needed. This alumni network to found to be very responsible and helpful to anyone who contacts them at any time of necessity or emergency.

To apply for admission to the Bengal school of technology and management one has to apply for a course listed in the prospectus. Prospectus and Admission Kit are available from the College Campus on payment of Rs. 500/- in cash or Rs. 500/- by DD/ Banker's Cheque favouring “Bengal school of Technology& Management” payable at Kolkata. Admission forms completely filled in are to be sent to the college before the mentioned date.

The faculty members of our college is a remarkable one with teachers and senior staffs highly graduated. Every staff is very responsible for bringing up the students under them to a higher position. The multi-disciplinary faculty members of the college are taken from the cream of academia and Industry. Their rich educational background and immense experience provide valuable insights into many facets of total education.
