The great experience at BIMS

Likes

We have a great play ground that makes memories for each student and the fest in the college brings enjoyment and lightning in our lifes.
The infrastructure is great and the good thing is the college is just beside the main road just because there is a great Availablity of two Wheeler

Dislikes

The campus is very small. The faculty should take care of this.

Admission:

I didn't apply for other college. The Deciplin in this college and the availability of computer system makes me choose this college. They just asked for 60 % marks in 12th to get admission in. And they don't take any interview or any admission test.

The College "BIMS", should you be a BIMSian ?

Likes

The whole college is neat and clean, ragging free campus
Our college tries to make us habituated to the corporate world. They teach us the gestures, they work on our speaking skills, leadership role etc

Dislikes

The one thing I must highlight the most is about playground, there is no proper playground for us.
In the tiffin break we can't involve ourselves in physical activities, we have to do it after the college hours.

Admission:

Basically I didn't apply in any other colleges. BIMS was not far away from my home, and this college is known as one of the best in burdwan, and many people recommend me this college, so without any second thought I joined this college

Eligibility is HS with 60 % marks Application forms can be found on the office and also other things can be get by contacting No entrance exam It was good. Need to tell students about the current job market situation.

Sometimes the college management behaviour is not good towards the students. And sometimes some teachers are not enough educated and thus not sufficient to clear the doubts of the students. The availability of books in the library is not so good.

Admission:

BIMS helped me to look at the brighter side of life with academics and sports, health was maintained. The college helped me to shape my personality in a positive way. The Seminar hall and the laboratories were quite an asset for a student like me, As I was more involved in the events and in gaining practical knowledge. The facilities were commendable.

BIMS is the best professional college in Bardhaman

Admission:

Our college teaching quality is excellent. But I think college can increase their campus. Because we have no big play ground. When college game competition occure then we go to an another field which is not our college property.

Yes, the candidate seeking admission to a 3-year B.Sc(biotechnology) program is required to have passed the higher secondary/10+2 or equivalent of any recognized Board or Council in Science with (Physics, Chemistry & Biology, Mathematics). The fees for the same will be INR 90000 for 3 years.
