The great experience at BIMS

Likes

The aspect that I appreciate in my college is the behavior of the faculty and their Decipline. Every teacher and the worker staff is careful
We have a great play ground that makes memories for each student and the fest in the college brings enjoyment and lightning in our lifes.
The faculty has experienced of teaching and know how to manged the classroom. They used new technology to attract the student attention

Dislikes

The campus is very small. The faculty should take care of this.

Placement Experience:

After completing 2nd semester the students are eligible for campus placement. Tcs wipro has visited our college. They also arranged job fail in their campus. Around 50 to 60 percent stdents got placed. I should prefer to have higher study after completing BCA.

The College "BIMS", should you be a BIMSian ?

Likes

Unlike other colleges our college follows a disciplined routine. Like the uniform, less off periods.
Our college tries to make us habituated to the corporate world. They teach us the gestures, they work on our speaking skills, leadership role etc
The whole college is neat and clean, ragging free campus

Dislikes

In the summers they usually don't turn on the ACs. Mainly the air conditioners are too old to work properly
The one thing I must highlight the most is about playground, there is no proper playground for us.
In the tiffin break we can't involve ourselves in physical activities, we have to do it after the college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course BCA would be one of the best choices in the current time, if anyone has intrest in tech field. Specially I am enjoying this course as expected, yes there are some difficulties (maths - my very weak point) but I believe some hard work can do the job.

The fees was very fair with 90,000 I have completed 3 years to BCA
Faculties are good and supportive and after the college we are also connected.

Dislikes

The placemnets were not that good, no company came for IT profiles

Course Curriculum Overview:

To be honest, the BCA curriculam at Burdwan University is not that good and outdated, teachers used to guide us that we should learn more than curriculum. but they need to introduce some concepts by their own effort.

Remarks:

Positive Remarks - 1. Our college has good teaching quality. 2. Student friendly environment. 3. Teachers and staff quality is so good. Negative Remarks - 1. No hostel facility 2. Not enough placement 3. Internship is not good

BIMS is the best professional college in Bardhaman

Remarks:

Our college teaching quality is excellent. But I think college can increase their campus. Because we have no big play ground. When college game competition occure then we go to an another field which is not our college property.
