Likes
- One of the best things about my college is all the classrooms and labs are fully air conditioned. The classrooms, labs and even the toilets are cleaned regularly, which really helps to create a comfortable learning environment.
- All the clubs of the college remain active all the time no matter whether it's technical clubs or fest related clubs like fun events domain, etc.
- The most important thing is that the college is entirely ragging -free. College also maintains a healthy girls to boys ratio.
Dislikes
- The classrooms are quite compact compared to the number of students in each class . At times it feels overcrowded and a bit uncomfortable during lectures.
- Some of the faculty members are relatively inexperienced. It often feels like they don't have full command over the subject they're teaching, which can affect the overall understanding of important concepts.
- Another issue I've noticed is the irregularity in certain subject classes. Not all subjects are taught consistently every semester , and there are high chances of some classes getting missed or not scheduled properly.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course has both the aspects namely computer science which is in demand right now and also business system which also give me knowledge about the business aspects. This made me choose this curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
The college brings vey few amount of companies for internships, and most of them offer no stipend - just experience certificates, which isn't very useful or impactful for students looking for paid opportunities.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible to sit for placements form 7 th semester that is from the beginning of final year. Usually the service based companies come here with cgpa criteria and offer jobs to students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of my course if fairly straightforward. The tution fee is Rs.79000 per semester for my course, so that it comes down to Rs 1,58,000 per year since we have two semesters annually. During admission , I had to pay a one time registration fee of Rs 5000 and another Rs 5000 for college uniform. Apart form that, there's also an exam fee of Rs 2000 which is charged during every semester exam. .
Campus Life
Books are being given from the library to the students at the beginning of each semester which they have to return it after the semester ends. College clubs ( whether it is a technical club or fest conducting clubs) they remain active all the time.
Admission
The primary reason for me to choose this college is that it is a good college and almost has good review. Also it is close to my hometown which adds another reason for choosing this college. I didn't choose another college because it's fees was high and also it was far from my home.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio in our college is roughly 1:60 . All the faculty members are quite approachable.If students have doubt all the faculty members clarify them willingly. Subjects that include both theory and lab components have separate lab exams. Theory exams are of moderate difficulty and the pass rate is high.
Night Life
There is no official hostel provided to students form the college. Students have to look for their accomodation on their own. College is located in the most prime location of the college. There is enough restraunts present around the college.
