Course Curriculum Overview

3

I think till now, they are teaching too old syllabus also there are old equipment in electrical lab which gives error while performing it. While for cs, mechanical and electronics. Courses are very good as we can fell there practical application, while i didn't like that ecology and enviroment Because there syllabus are not that much of new we have already studied it when we were in school

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships are provided by google, intel, qualcomm, apple ,samsung, microsoft and many more. There is much good internship opportunity in our college nit durgapur. One intern of my contact of our college also get placed in the same company . Our placement and training cell is good and reputed

Placement Experience

4

In our college there is 82% placement. Highest placement is around of 80 Lakhs per annum by apple india. Mainly from fourth year student are get placed. Also there are some internship from second and third year

Fees and Financial Aid

Here, fee structure is for semester .Means we need to pay semisterwise. Fees for whole course might be around 6 lakh to 6.5 lakhs, and there are some other expenses like food.Because food is not that much good every time in the mess.

Campus Life

3

For real there is not that much of campus life for first year. They are not allowed to go out of the hostel. But from second year all are free to go anywhere. And seems campus life is also much better. Our campus have so many clubs, but along all i like strokes i.e art and photography club... and recursion . Infrastucture is not that much bad but also we can't say it good also

Hostel Facilities

3

We have provided a bed without bed sheet that we need to purchase of our own . Meal is sometime good but some time it is not . Our hostel is very affordable . Also there is good bathrooms and toilet as compare to other college's hostels Quality of food of our mess is also good.

Admission

I took admission through josaa only. I took it because of good placements in cs and good academic culture, and also i have heard from my family relative that it is too good. Our college is good from other college is only because of its strict rules. NIT DURGAPUR HAVE VERY STRICT RULE than any other college in india. In this college , addmision is done through jee mains only After that there are two counselling one is josaa and other is csab

Faculty

3

Several faculty are too good but some are not because of language here some bengali professor's english are not understandable. There are 8 sem in whole course and in each course there is 60-25-15 marking scheme. Means 60 marks is for end sem 25 marks is for mid sem While 15 marks is Class assessment

Night Life

3

We have many cafe around us like wonder cafe,Nescafe etc.. Also there is very good gym facility and library. In our hostel in time is of 9.30 pm . Hangout places are city centre ,junction mall and many more... I feel it is not that much safe at night outside the campus after some nearby cases

Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . Placement Experience:

Yes, there is a placement cell at the university campus. It conducts placement related activities and programs for the students. Students are eligible for the campus placement from the 5th semester. Some companies visit the campus to hire the students. Some of the companies are E&Y, SAP, Deloitte, TCS and they have made total approximately 40 offers out of 100 students. The highest and average package of our university is 28Lakhs and 5-6Lakhs for the role of SDE. The percentage of students getting placements if about 40-45%. The seniors told me that the companies offer good packages to the students. I am in my second year so I do not have much information about it. After completing degree from this university, I'm thinking to appear for GATE examination as I want to do my Master's from IIT's.

From 7th semester student got placement and there is no limitation for placement. There are so many companies visited the campus, such as (amazon, microsoft, JP morgon, TCS , infosys, Oracle , and many more..) , they offer more than 700 to 800 students. The average package of CSE branch is approx 22 LPA and highest package is 82 LPA. There are 80 to 90 percent student who got placed. My plan after getting the job is to work hard and explore the world.

From 7th semester onwards, a student will become eligible for placements but before that in 6th semester, student has to do training and internships. In our time companies were hardly visited due to recession, however by the end of placement season 1 year later, my branch had 80%-85% placement. Highest from my branch was 11LPA and overall it was 12.
