Course Curriculum Overview
I am very moved by the work ethics and structure of thee civil engineering department. The curriculum is very good for real life experience. We get a very good experience of how to manage things in our way. The exams are monthly and their are a semester exam after 5 to 6 months
Internships Opportunities
One can get internships in various companies as well as in various colleges. Like someone can do internship in jgec college as well as in our college aslo. Someone can do it in Pwd department as well as in companies like TCS , Tata motors, Tata Steel, etc.
Placement Experience
For 7th semester students the campus placement is eligible. The companies visited the campus are Wipro, TEECL, L&T, Pinnacle, TCS, JSW etc.... The percentage of the placement is around 60 to 70 percentage. I want to pursue m tech after my b tech from this college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure of 1st year is 12500 rupees. We get 60000 rupees for scholarship. The environment of the college is very good. Their is caution money about 2000 rupees. The placement rate is also very good in this college
Campus Life
The annual and technical clubs are melodies of cgec, tech o nics, necovate, gamers creed, capture crew, creative pens, debate club etc. The library of the college is very good. You can take the books for your personal usage. Their are various kinds of books along the course books.
Admission
The college is chosen by me for various reasons. Number one is the atmosphere. The college is situated in north Bengal so the atmosphere is very calm and healing. Number two the placement ratio is good enough from many good colleges. I got rejected by JU because I didn't choose the good branches over their which i should add in my choice filling
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1: 25. Their are very good student to faculty relationship. We can often approach the faculties easily. The best faculty is Gurung sir. He is very good at his teaching. Their are 8 papers approximately in each semester.
Night Life
My favourite hangout spot is the compound of the college. In the evening we go their to talk to he friends and have a calm mood. The seniors are very good. They give us the best time for our mental and emotional growth. The hostel timings are 8pm sharp and the campus timings are 5pm.
