- MAKAUT has rescheduled the 1st Phase of the Registration process for newly admitted B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral), MCA and M.Tech students for the academic year 2024-25. The registrations will be held on October 28, 29, 30, 2024 and November 05, 06, 2024.

If you want to study in this collage you must have appear in wbjee and a good rank in this examination. There is direct admission in this collage so all student of this collage is better than other collages

- Faculty's experience is very good, they teaches us very well

I applied mang colleges but due to my low rank I choose this course. But I didn't get any rejection from other colleges, there was not any wrong decision, admission process is through wbjee counseling, you have to be eligible for the courses
Likes
- The infrastructure of college is pretty good.
- Professors are very good, helpful and down to earth.... They take their classes very well in every department.
Dislikes
- Placement in it and cse are not so satisfying.
Admission:
You have to pass physics, chemistry and mathematics with 60 marks. And your wbjee rank should be 7000 (general student). After councilling process of wbjee you have to verify document and then you can get admission

- The College location is very good, and the College faculty is expertise, their teaching methods and experience is very good.
- Behaviour of the College faculty is very well.
Dislikes
- Behaviour of the Security guards is very rude.
- College infrastructure is not good as expected.
Admission:
The one and only admission procedure is through WBJEE councelling process. Reservation benefits is too high, when you have SC/ST certificates. But their admission procedure is offline, if it is online mode, it is very quick process.

- Good classroom, Good faculty, students teachers relationship is good. High level study
Dislikes
- Lab is not good need to upgrade. Also need to upgrade classroom from normal to smart classroom
Admission:
In you want to addmission for Btech course their is only gateway is WBJEE exam and the cutoff of WBJEE 7000-8000 rank for genaral. JELET exam is a gateway for lateral entry and the cutoff 700 rank for genaral. Also apply for Mtech in Textile technology through GATE exam.

- Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology Serampore is one of my favourite government college.This college's teacher and all the faculty members are very kind hearted and helpful. In every situation they always supports students.
- This college campus is very student friendly, no ragging or ragging related activities happens , this campus is anti ragging campus which is one of the most needed for every student.
Admission:
There are a fixed marks for getting admission. Then we have to show and do verify our documents by faculty members. Then according to particular course there are different fees and we have two option to submit the addmission fees by online or by cash in bank .

First of all you will get prepare for wbjee exam this is a all India based exam and if you get qualify then you have to choice filling for colleges and then allocate the seat of yours in college then college will freeze your seat and admission process is on. And after that you can upgrade it and choose another college if you want

Admission:
Government college of engineering and textile technology, serampore college is one of the oldest textile college in India. Here are 4 branch of B. Tech that are Computer science, Information technology, Textile technology, apparel production management. To come here you have to quallify WBJEE EXAM. Then you have to select the name of college during counselling process. The rank that is needed to take admission in Textile technology is almost 10k

- Lab and classrooms are not so that good.
- Funding of this collage is so poor and cant afford all necessities.
Admission:
You have to give the exam of wbjee to get admission in our college. As i said the wbjee is the only exam to get admitted in this college. So you have to fill the form for that exam and if you crack the exam then through out the counseling process you would get the chance to get into this college. Reservation benefits like sc st obc and pwd reservation are available in this college. I don't have any issue with the admission process.

- Limited food items in canteen and it's not available for all day

Student should pass or appear in 10+2 or equivalent in math, physics and English with compulsory and as optional chemistry, biology, computer science, complete application or any vocational subject . Student must qualify wbjee exam. It has 10 percent reservation for each cast which applies only on home state candidate
