The Enthusiastic Extravaganza of Engineering Life

All the subjects that are taught are interlinked which helps a student of a technical stream to flourish in the field that they are studying for. The drawback is not of the college but of the university under which the college is affailated to. They have a forceful failing tendency which is causing harm to the students.

Internships are offerred from fifth semester onwards. Students basically go for internships which deals with web-development, database management and coding roles in the company. Companies include Ardent, Capgemini, Euphoria etc. that have provided internship for the students.

Students become eligible for campus placements after 6th Semester. The quality of placements offered are improving every year. Almost all the students are placed on campus and the remaining gets placed off campus. Renowned companies like TCS, Cognizant, Cappgemini, Wipro, BYJU'S, Amazon and much more. The highest package offered was 23.5 LPA and the average was 5 LPA. About 89% students were placed.

Speaking of fees structure, it is flexible and designed in such a way that an individual from a middle class family can opt for it. The fees is less than some of the downgraded private engineering colleges. Semester wise it is easier for one to pay the fees. Also the fees includes the expense for uniforms, seminars, trainings and everythings so there is the oplicy of one time investment. Speaking of placement the average package is increasing every year and this year about 89% students got placed on campus and the highets package recieved was 23.5 LPA.

Campus life is too good in here. There are cultural events held almost every month. The college freshers UDAAN, Tech fest and the cultutral Fest TARANG are the three big pillars of cultural events together known as SUROTSAV. There are mainly eight streams offered: Computer Science, Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning), Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Automobile and Robotics. Sports events are held in the months November-Februrary. Events varies from Football, Cricket, Table Tennis, Badminton to Chess, Carrom and much more. Cultural clubs includes Drama& Documentary club, Debate Club, Quiz Club and lot more! Classrooms are well equipped with Blackboard and smart boards.

Admission process was smooth. Students can get admission via WBJEE Exam or JEE Mains Exam ranks respectively. Cutoff is genereally mid for the students to get admission. It varies from 10K-35K in WBJEE. You have to bring your class 10 and 12 results and admit cards along with government verified identification cards such as Aadhar and PAN Cards. No extra documents are required. Payment issues can be there when server is down. Diploma students can get admission through JEXPO and JELET examinations. The only thing I didn't liked is that some seats which are remaining gets filled by studnets directly through AMPAI exam which hampers the credibility of students getting admission through WBJEE and JEE mains.

Recently more faculties are being recruited and they are individuals who have thorough knowledge in the subjects which they are teaching. More or less the subjects are being well taught and special care is given to the students. I am happy about the faculty, only drawback is that some of the teachers should teach in an engaging manner. Nowadays we students are stressed over small things and only engaging teaching can help us to improve our studies.
