Voices of FIEM : Student Experiences
Ritwika Santra of the 2023 batch of the B. Tech has to write regarding FIEM.
The review posted by Ritwika Santra, a student of B.Tech IT at FIEM (Future Institute of Engineering and Management), is both positive and negative in nature, as it describes the best and worst about her college life. She loves the lively social life on campus and being able to relate to people, with whom she has formed friendships. Ritwika also appreciates the existence of five different clubs offering cultural, technical, sports, film, and even Google Developer activities that make campus life exciting. She also commends some professors who are not only excellent in their area of expertise but are also very good at teaching with passion and lucidity.
On the negative side, Ritwika is dissatisfied with the infrastructure of the college, mentioning problems such as malfunctioning fans and lights that have not been fixed in spite of repeated complaints. She further states that some of the faculty members, while highly qualified, do not provide effective teaching. The other issue she points out in the college is that the canteen is in bad condition and is unhygienic and mismanaged, and she only goes there in exceptional situations.
