Likes

Professor are knowledgeable lab condition is good
The ratio of boys and girls are 4:3 that is good.
Placement coordinators are supportive for varification process

Dislikes

HOD is not good always prefer girls over boys. Doing sex with girl student in his personal room
Not provide a good placement for average placements it's ok. For year 2023 placement record is 80%
Some professors have very poor knowledge on Computer science

Admission:

I choose this college because my rank was not so good and I don't want to wait for second councelling that's why I have joined this college. Based on WBJEE rank you can select the college and admission process will take based on your rank.

FIEM - The Nooks and Corners !

The thing which I like the most is the opportunity to increase my social life in the college campus and nearby. As for me, someone who is entitled towards knowing people and making friends, this is quite helpful.
The clubs- there are 5 different clubs aiding to each field , like cultural , technical , sports , film and even a Google development club which is quite fun and interesting
A part of the faculty who doesn't only have knowledge, but also is good in teaching students with a fevour. Not every faculty has right teaching skills, but the ones who do are extremely talented.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is one among them - you would find few fans and lights to be not working from the first day itself and it would need several complains to finally let the management work on it.
A part of faculty who though has the knowledge, doesn't know how to imply it correctly into teaching . They might be really good with their qualifications but it is terrible when it comes to teaching
The canteen , it's a place , I enter once in 6 months if very much needed. That place is too unhygienic and even the one who looks after the canteen is quite ill mannered at times

There were few colleges I applied to based on my WBJEE ranks . There was St. thomas college, techno college , heritage , msit and many more . If you know the way of how WBJEE admissions work , you will know we need to give a list of college and they would choose according to our preference and rank . Now according to that , I got this college . Well, if telling why I didn't get applied in other colleges which were much better it was due to my WBJEE rank , which was not that upto mark . Talking about the admission process , its just following the process of WBJEE admissions and on admission day providig the necessary documents needed by the college which will be informed ( or maybe we need to know) . If we talking about cut offs it changes every year so we need to look after it from previous years' cut off list . Also , you need to have atleast a good percent in both ICSE and ISC for admission.

Applied to several different colleges..but our college provides good education in a very minimal fees structure..also it provides good facilities as well as environment for students... Placement records are quite good in the previous years as well

I APPLIED TO NO OTHER COLLEGES BECAUSE THIS COLLEGE HAD ONE OF THE BEST PLACEMENT RATE IN THE PAST FEW YEARS WITH BEST COLLEGE EVENTS AND ETC THE ADMISSION PROCESS IS WE GOT THE WBJEE RANK SYSTEM WHERE WE GOT COUNSELLING AND I GOT INTO THE CLG IN THE FIRST COUNSELLING AND MANAGEMENT QUOTA IS ALSO AVAILABLE IN THIS COLLEGE

Likes

Affordable Fee structure as compare to other private colleges
student organization and clubs for extracurricular activites
emphasis in soft skills, communication, and personality devloment through workshops and mock interview

Dislikes

limited infrastructure quality like the canteen is not good also classroom is not to the point
placement bias towards ( IT, CSE, DS, ) if you want to take any other course except this you should take admission in some other college
a higher student to faculty ratio which can lead to less personalized attention and support

Admission:

i applied to several engineering colleges including techno india university heritage institute of technology and bp poddar institute of management and technology apart from fiem i recieved offers from techno india and bp poddar reason for choosing fiem affordable fee structure and less distance from my house good placement for it category i could not secure a spot at heritage institue of technology due to slightly lower rank in wbjee eligibilty:- 10+2 with physics chemistry mathematics minimum 45% aggregate and 40% for sc/st/obc exams accepted wbjee jee cutoff for wbjee in cse goes this year 60,000 the process was smooth and included online registration document verification and counseling through wbjee followed be seat allotment and fee submission

Faculties of our department I liked the most.
Extra curriculum activities from departmental side.

Less on campus opportunities provided to us.
Small playground and festive ground in our campus.

Admission:

This college I chose for better placement record at that point of time when I went for admission. Admission process is just like other college with a good valid WBJEE or JEE rank and then applied through their portal and then seat allocation and fees payment.

Different clubs , events are there which you will enjoy.
Professors and Lab assistants in some of the departments are really helpful.

Dislikes

Not much opportunities regarding on campus placement.
Lab infrastructure is not upto the mark.

Admission:

Admission process is just like any other colleges with a valid WBJEE RANK or JEE RANK. I chose this college as it was not so far from my place. Rank needed for CSE or IT is a bit higher than other branches.

I was confused to apply in which college I had applied in Swami Vivekananda's but tmy final decision was Future institute of engineering and management because I wanted to pursue BBA and one of my seniors studies here and I got the admission here. The criteria are simple just have a minimum percentage of 50 percentage

Thair room ar very clean and tha washroom are clean.
College canteen food are very hygienic and low costs.

Dislikes

I think college uniform is important in this college
But no class with AC all room are without AC
I think there are no problem about this college

I admit this college because their course are very well good better then other colleges and their college huge placement in this college, this college you want to admit and you can exam JEE/WBJEE this type of entrance exam, thank you.

The programs they arranged all together for everyone and the happy way everyone do things like there home and the lovely faculties, they also participate in everything.
The teachers teaches us so nicely and they teach us repeatedly when we don't understand some things
The placement is good they prepare everyone for the placement part and they are very friendly with us and that is the plus point .

Dislikes

There's not that much of things that i dislike .
A strict rule to not say any personal things
And the attitude of the seniors that need to be changed

Admission:

This college is near and easy travel from my house thats why i didn't apply for any other college. No i didn't got rejected from other colleges for admission there's a exam and need 70% marks in 12th .
