The faculty to student ratio is 1:25. Some faculties are good some not. Abhishek Bal is the good faculty member. Tapas Roy is the worst faculty member. Doing nothing just want to gossips with girl student. College follows the MAKAUT exam schedule.

FIEM - The Nooks and Corners !

A part of faculty who though has the knowledge, doesn't know how to imply it correctly into teaching . They might be really good with their qualifications but it is terrible when it comes to teaching

Student Snaps:

The faculty to student ratio , if I am telling about my department (Information Technology) is quite almost 1:16. Talking about the relationship between the faculty and students , it depends on how approachable both side are .At times the teachers are quite cool and open minded while mingling with the students and it helps students to reach teachers easily , but sometimes they get partial and get biased towards some students hence leaving the others. If talking about name, there is one particular teacher i used to quite hate but later realised how good he was , and now I am hoping to get him in the next semester . He is SM sir, not at all partial and geninuely used to look after us . Well talking about the one I didn't like is a female teacher, who is way too much biased towards male students and thus I'll treats and become unnecessarily rude towards the female ones. About exams , for one year there is two semester exams (since there are two semesters ) , following the makaut system . For each semesters there are CA exams too (which are basically the internal exams) . Talking about semester exams, they are quite difficult to pass if you don't study for it atleast a bit , and at times even the checking is not done properly which leads to backlogs , though they can be cleared . Honestly, it is relevant though there are some subjects like EVs, biology which I personally don't know why is it needed

The faculty relationship with the students is quite frankly and friendly that helps us reach our professors for any help without any hesitation. Exams are taken very seriously and frequently that helps us strengthen our base.

FRIENDLY TEACHERS AND MENTORS AND VERY HELPFUL
HOD IS VERY ACTIVE WITH HIS STUDENTS AND AGREES FOR TONS OF EXCTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITES ALONG WITH STUDIES

FOR FIRST YEAR THERE ARE MANY TEACHERS WITH RESPECT TO STUDENS(3 FOR MATHS 1 FOR ELECTRICAL 2 FOR PHYSICS AND LABORATORY TEACHERS ALSO) BEST FACULTY IN MATHEMATICS AS THEY ARE VERY LENIENT AND GOOD AND GIVES GOOD SCORES IN INTERNALS ALL FACULTIES ARE GOOD NONE ARE BAD SO I LIKED EVERY ONE THERE ARE 4 CA AND 2 PCA WHICH ARE INTERNAL UNITS AND INTERNAL PRACTICALS HAVING 25 MARKS FOR UITS AND 40 FOR PRACTICALS WHERE THE AVG IS ADDED FOR SEMESTERS

Exploring College Life At Fiem

a higher student to faculty ratio which can lead to less personalized attention and support

the ratio at fiem is considered moderate allowing faculty to provide personalized attention to students though it may not be asin elite institutions faculty member are generally approachable and supportive particularly for academic quesries and project guidance. some students have praise their mentors for helping with career and skill development. specific memeber are often aprreciated for their teaching style in depth knowledge and interacyive sessions. while names might vary by batch professors in the CSE department especially those teaching coding and algortihms recieve positive feedback every semester you will have ca1 ca2 ca3 ca4 for each subject also you will have pca 1 pca2 and practical (lab) exams for the practical subjects and at the end you will have to give semester exam also in college you have to give class test also if you will study its easy otherwise not diffculty level is moderate just more focus on maths and technical subjects some students have reported dissatisfaction with a few faculty members who rely heavily on theoretical teaching, lacking practical application or engagemnt

Campus life

Faculties of our department I liked the most.

1. faculty-to-student ratio is quite good in CSE department. Professors often helps students for different career perspectives. 2. Each one of them was really incredible. 3. In each semester there was 4 written Internal exams including ppt presentation, assignment writing, written exam and online MCQ test. Almost every student got passing marks and at the same time exam cell was very strict.

Professors and Lab assistants in some of the departments are really helpful.

Faculty to student relationship is good. Exam cell is really very strict. Attendance systems are also strict. Faculties are approachable and helpful too. Though exam cell are strict maximum students were passed.

Abouty college

As our college is based on makaut the exam environment is very strict in every exam hall there will be minimum two invigilator. And the checking is also done strictly and the faculty members are helpful to us and our relationship with them is good

In this college the teachers are so good and helpful and they support to increase your skills and about the exam system, there was very strong gaurd in exam hall and every class room has CC camera, very well

I don't know the ratio of faculty to students, but the relationship between students and faculty is friendly and appropriate. Sarnendu sir , sapan sir , ip sir, kdm sir , atp sir i like them because they are very friendly, and they help me with everything.
