Techno International New Town (TINT) is a private institute under the aegis of Techno India Group. Established in 2005, it is a prestigious institute set up in Newtown, Rajarhat, Kolkata. It is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology and has been approved by AICTE. The institute is also ranked at the 13th position among the top 15 engineering institutes in the Eastern Region in Times of India Engineering Rankings 2024.

I chose the college because I got it... and the placement of the college is very good It's under the techno group which is very good They have good atmosphere This college is ragging free So strict in rules

- A variety of Extra curriculum to choose from which gives a relief from the hectic studies
- The campus is big and has a basketball ground as well. The new building is well equipted with mordern and neat environment

- The computer labs are a bit clumpsy and even though it does the job but a more mordern and neat lab is expected for the money we're paying
- The campus although big has a lot of pot holes which fill up during rain and drench our shoes

I applied for the Techno India mains college first but because i had not given the cet exam i wasn't qualified. I got a confirmed admission from techno india university but i wanted a college which was makaut affiliated. Hence i choose this college. I got rejected by other makaut affiliated colleges because i had not given the cet exam. The admission process is smooth and simple. As i took admission from the management quota i didn't have any cut off requirements.

- Teachers are good and supportive. They try to listen the students problem and make decision for the sake of students.
Dislikes
- They are forcing 75% attendance criteria in 3rd year also, after when you fail to meet the attendance criteria they will mark absent in internal.
Admission:
I applied for Haldia Institute of technology but due to low rank i didn't get selected in Haldia. You can take admission in this college either by wbjee or jee rank, the cutoff for last round of CSE branch is around 26k while the other departments like specialization branches cutoff may go upto 50k.

I have applied here because I search about this college and I got a better review according to fees and some local guardian also suggest me this college. I have get admission by giving test and after pass that particular exam I have been admitted here . Also I have not get rejection I have first think to apply in Ranchi but I think Kolkata living style and environment are better so I choose this City and this College.

already my relative's children and son of my fathers friend is already there in the college. My Wbjee rank is not as good as i can choose higher rank colleges. I already applied in cse in kalyani govt college, ece in techno main saltlake, cse in heritage instititue and electrical and mechanical in jadavpur university. i got rejection due to ranking from the above mentioned colleges. admission process of our college is super smooth as per rank a date is issued, i got admission in my college in 1st september 2021, cutoff of wbjee of our college for cse is 30000.
