RCC Institute of Information Technology Admission 2024 is open for all courses. WBJEE Results 2024 has been declared for B.Tech/ B.Pharm admission and the counselling will begin shortly @wbjeeb.nic.in.
Other Updates are as follows:
- WB JELET Admit Card 2024 can be downloaded from June 21, 2024 to June 29, 2024 for admission to B.Tech (Lateral).
- WB JECA Admit Card 2024 will be available from July 05, 2024 to July 14, 2024 for MCA admission.

The RCC Institute of Information Technology [RCCIIT], established in 1999, is an institute of technology located in Kolkata, West Bengal. The Institute affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology in West Bengal is the result of a collaborative venture between the Ministry of IT, Govt of India, and the Department of Higher Education, Govt of West Bengal. RCCIIT has received NBA accreditation for EE, CSE, IT and ECE departments and is accredited Grade’B++” by NAAC. RCCIIT Kolkata is approved by the AICTE and NBA and has partnered with many reputed Foreign as well as Indian Universities like North Dakota State University (USA), University of Regina (Canada), College of Medicine Swansea University (UK), University of Illinois, Chicago (USA), University of Buffalo (USA), Texas Tech University, different IITs (Kharagpur, Kanpur, Roorkee, Guwahati), IIM (Kozhikode), IIEST, ISM, Jadavpur University, etc.
The RCC Institute of Information Technology [RCCIIT], Kolkata offers B.Tech programs at the UG level in various disciplines and PG programs in M.Tech as well as MCA. Admission to B.Tech and M.Tech are entrance-based. However, admission to MCA is merit-based. The Institute is part of the Technical Education Quality Improvement program to improve teaching, training and learning facilities. RCCIIT Admissions
The admission to the B.Tech program based on a valid rank or score in WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) or JEE (Main) examination, respectively.
For M.Tech, the candidate should have got a valid score and rank in PGET (Post Graduate Entrance Test) conducted by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal or GATE exam, respectively.
For MCA, admission is on a merit basis.

The candidates who have fulfilled the selection criteria can follow the steps mentioned below:
- Applicants need to fill online admission forms available at the RCCIIT Kolkata website.
- A scanned copy of the necessary documents needs to be submitted in a CD/DVD and also emailed at the institute email id.
- Institute doesn’t accept USB devices for the submission of scanned documents.
- Candidates must bring the original as well as the scan copy of the documents at the time of admission.

RCCIIT Facilities
The RCCIIT Kolkata offers various facilities to cater to the needs of the students, staff, and faculty members. Some of these are as follows:
- Library: The institute library has a rich collection of textbooks, reference books, periodicals, journals, and magazines. There are approximately 33100 volumes, 5000 books, 4720 titles, online journals, and 500 plus CD/DVD collections. The students have access to the Book Bank facility. It also keeps lab manuals and tutorial books for UG and PG students.
- Journals: There are three types of Journals available in the Institute library. The Print journals include books and other printed materials and magazines issued to students, staff, and faculty. The online journals can access scholarly articles through ACM, IEEE, and Elsevier Science Direct. Apart from paid, free journals are also available.
- Digital Library: The Institute allows students to access ACM Digital Library, J-Gate, and British Council Library. The online database through the digital library gives access to more than 85,000 e-books and 7,000 e-journals. The free database is accessed through NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning), e-Pathshala, INFLIBNET search, World Bank Open e-data, and OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue).
- Medical Facility: The Institute has hired a medical officer and physician. The ambulance service is also available. There is a sick room in the campus for emergency medical care.
- Sports: The Institute organizes Cricket, Carrom, and Football tournaments/ competitions at the university level.
- Laboratories: The Institute has well-equipped laboratories to cater to the needs of all the students from various departments. The Labs have a projector, fire safety facility, high-speed optic internet facility, and equipment to conduct lab works, projects, and research works. There is also a computer lab with 30 desktop PCs.

To get admission ni this clg you have to appeared wbjee or jee mains which are the entrance exam for engineering. You will get admission through counselling process. And to get admission there are some conditions like you must have 45 % above number in your 12th Board exam.

One can take admission here through WBJEE or JEE MAIN. The eligibility is you have to be 10+2 passed and you have to appear on minimum one f the entrances mentioned above. After counselling if one is shortlisted, he or she have to go to the college to take admission. The application form will be fillled by management,they just have to submit the required documents as per the instructions of the management.There are 4 internal exams of theory paper with 4 different exam methods conducted on the gap of a month containing same level of difficulty and 2 internal exams of practical exams are conducted with same level of difficulty on a gap of or 3 months and after internals, end semester exams are conducted containing the highest difficulty. The admission process takes too much time and for ease of that it can be automated through complete online application and authentication can be done and verified from the backend to check if the student is shortlisted in the counselling or not

Our college take admission through wbjee exam some percent are taken through jee main exam . In wbjee if you want cse than you have get a rank around 20k and for IT you have get rank around 30k and ECE you required a rank around 40k and for EE it is 50k in wbjee

Admission was very smooth, I got cse for having 6000 rank in wbjee, the cutoff for CSE was 15000 in wbjee during my admission and 25000 for IT, apart from these other departments like ece, aeie, ee took students till 35000 wbjee rank. I didn't have any sort of reservation but it didn't bother my admission. There were no seperate exam for admission, only jee and wbjee entrance exams were considered.

You can enter in our college through both jee main and wbjee. The cutoff is not too high. You can get CSE under 15k and for IT and AIML under 30k. The admission fees and the first sem fees is around 1lakh. The total course fees is around 6 lakh.
