RCCIIT Kolkata B.Tech Admission 2025

RCCIIT Kolkata offers a B.Tech. as its flagship program, with 5 different specializations. The college also offers direct admission to the second year of the B.Tech. program, provided the eligibility criteria are fulfilled.

Admission to regular B.Tech.(4-year) program is based on scores in JEE Mains or WBJEE, followed by state counselling.

RCCIIT Kolkata B.Tech. Eligibility Criteria-

• B.Tech.(Regular)- Candidates must have qualified 10+2 with PCM as compulsory subjects from any recognized university.
• B.Tech.(Lateral)- Candidates must have a Diploma in Engineering /Technology with 60% marks from any Polytechnic Institute, recognized by AICTE.

Selection Criteria-

Candidates are selected based on scores in JEE Mains or WBJEE, followed by WBJEE counselling.

How to Apply?

Candidates who meet the selection criteria can apply by first filling out the online admission form available on the official RCCIIT Kolkata website. After submitting the form, they are required to email scanned copies of all necessary documents to the institute’s designated email ID. Finally, at the time of admission, candidates must bring both the original documents and their scanned copies for verification.

RCCIIT Kolkata PG Admission 2025

RCC Institute of Information Technology offers M.Tech. & MCA as its PG Program. The college offers M.Tech. in 3 specializations. Admission to M.Tech. program is based on PGET or GATE score, followed by counseling.

RCCIIT Kolkata PG Eligibility Criteria-

M.Tech.- Candidates must possess a graduation degree in the domain they wish to take admission.

MCA- Passed BCA/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree

OR

• Passed B.Sc./B.Com./B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 level (with additional bridge courses as per the norms of the concerned University)
• Obtained at least 50 % marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examinationGraduate or equivalent degree under (10+2+3) pattern in any discipline

Followed by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, Counselling.

RCCIIT Kolkata Application Process-

Students who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for undergraduate and postgraduate courses through the official RCCIIT website. The application process is as follows:

• Candidates should visit the RCCIIT website and create an account.
• A verification email will be sent to the registered email address, and on verification, candidates can log in using their user ID and password.
• After logging in, they should navigate to the “Enquiry” section, fill in the required details accurately, and submit the form.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for online counselling, which is conducted based on their entrance exam rank and their chosen discipline.
• Those selected through counselling must report to college with their original academic documents and valid ID proof for verification.
• Once the documents are successfully verified, the candidate will be allotted their chosen course.
