SURTECH REVIEW

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Tuition fee was justified but now it has awfully increased by almost 1.3lakhs. The complete cost of our batch is normal like it's not too cheap nor too expensive compared to other private institutions. No extra scholarships are provided, basic state and central government scholarships are available.

Campus Life good, Seminars are very frequent, Fest and freshers are normal. Books are available but not widely available. Classrooms equipped with projectors and screens which no one ever uses Social groups are poor but they are there

Faculty to student ratio is good. If approached with a problem all the facilities are very friendly and helpful. All the facilities are well-ly assesable through phone, whatsapp and email. Interaction with teachers is good and they are very much approachable.
