Dream Institute of Technology was established in 2006 and is one of the best private engineering colleges in South Kolkata. The institute offers UG and PG courses across Science, Engineering, Humanities, and Management streams. It offers B.Tech, BBA, BHM, BCA, and B. Sc. at UG level and M.Tech at the PG level. Applications for these courses are processed online. Admission to the college is done on the basis of the entrance exam.

Dream Institute of Technology Admission
The admissions at the Dream Institute of Technology is a simple process yet based on 2 criteria; first is the entrance exam and the second is the merit obtained by the students in previous academic levels. The admission process is entirely online and is conducted as per the guidelines of MAKAUT which was previously known as West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT).

- Register your candidature.

With a lush green campus of 11 acres in an urban setting, the college provides the following facilities inside the college campus.
- Library: The institute has a central library which has the integrated Library automation software that provides access over 30,375 books along with National Journals, International Journals, and E-Journals.

- Entrepreneurship avenues: The college facilitates Technopreneurship in partnership with the National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN), in which the students are encouraged to invent new products and processes and explore the entrepreneurship option. The criteria of eligible marks were 70% min. The admission was through WBJEE marks. I got 19000 through TFW rank. The admission process was smooth and it went all well. Everything was explained smoothly by the admission charge. Overall A good experience.

Faculties of my department are very friendly, helpful and co-operative. They mostly sought out all problems. Each student has their own mentor so in case of any emergency, mentor always tries to sought the things out.

Overall, as compared to other colleges, Dream Institute of Technology stands out at delivering the state of the art infrastructures to the freshers and the faculties are always there to guide and help to clear all hurdles that may be there for any fresher by their caring attitude and very good understanding of the subjects.So, I don't have any negative remark about the college as I didn't face any.
