BIT Mesra Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The students become eligible from the fourth year first semester onwards. Many MNCs visit our campus every year such as amazon, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, etc. Almost all the students in the circuital branches get placed.

The reason I chose this course is because I want to become a Software Developer. The best thing about my course is the teachers are very friendly and helpful. Faculty: Student ratio is 1:80 and sometimes 1:150 (when 2 classes combine The teachers are qualified and knowledgable. The teaching quality differed from average-awesome depending upon the teacher. Modern technology like a projector and whiteboard is used simultaneously to teach. The semester exam difficulty lies between average-easy. Initially, it will be easy but as you have to write mid-semester and end-semester exams, the difficulty of the paper will increase a little due to the large syllabus. But the good news is pass percentage is ~95%.

This year more than 300 companies visited and almost 630+ students got placed out of 900 highest package offered here was 85 lakh and the minimum salary offered was 4 lakh All companies almost all MNCs visited our campus except the new startup company which is not listed.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Companies visited are Oracle, Microsoft etc. The highest package is nearly 80 lakhs and averages nearly 13 lakhs. NEARLY 45% of Students get placement from BIT. My plan after getting the degree is to build a company.

Placements are excellent and comparable to the top nits of the country. 84lpa was the highest placement that was secured this year. Avg. package ranges from 8lpa to 14 LPA. Major recruiters are Atlassian, Microsoft, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro and many more.

During the 6th semester, you are eligible for campus placement. More than 120 companies visited the main campus of Bit at Ranchi. In the case of the branch highest placement in 2022 is 90lpa and avg is 26lpa but in other branches avg placement is 13lpa.

I loved computer games from my childhood and later on, when I learnt to code I loved the stream of computer science even more and decided that this was the stream I wanted. The faculty-student ratio is quite good and every faculty member is a qualified professional and the exams are conducted properly at the proper times.

The placement percentage of the college is fair in the case of circuital branches the highest package offered here in Cse and ece branches is 60lpa on campus other than that the core branches' average package lies somewhere between 10-12lpa.

From 5th semester, students get internship opportunities on campus here and placement is provided from 7th semester. All great giants you can imagine your job into come here for placements excluding Apple. Number of offers made is justified too. The highest package on campus was 82lpa from ECE, CSE, and IT. The highest off-campus is 3.5 crore per year from the Chemical branch. Circuital branches have 90%+ students placed. Non-circuital struggle a bit in on-campus placements but it is decent.

I choose this course because I had interest in machines. Faculty of our college is very good in terms of behaviour and discipline. Teachers are well qualified and offer and best learning experience. All exams were held on the proper time and the papers were moderate.
