Eligibility You have to qualify to jee mains to take admission in BIT Mesra. Admission was done through Josaa counselling and was easy. You have to score above 98 percentile to get admission in good branches of this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well structured and updated and meets industry standards. Teachers are highly qualified with good teaching experience and are highly supportive. Teacher- student ratio is very good and you can ask your doubts any time.
Placement Experience
Placements are excellent and comparable to the top nits of the country. 84lpa was the highest placement that was secured this year. Avg. package ranges from 8lpa to 14 LPA. Major recruiters are Atlassian, Microsoft, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro and many more.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total tuition fees for Btech are around 14LPA in addition to which you will have to pay around 25k for the hostel and mess. If you get a good percentile in jee mains(99+), then you can get a GP Birla scholarship or if you are getting 8.5gpa+ in your sem exams then also you can apply for a gp birla scholarship
Campus Life
BITOTSAV is our cultural fest and Pantheon is our technical fest which is organised every year and students from other colleges also come and participate. The library is well equipped with all the books that are required by students. Classrooms are spacious and well-equipped with projectors, speakers and AC.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are decent. You are provided lan ports in your rooms which offer a decent speed. There are wifis everywhere on the campus. Mess food is decent and hygienic. The menu is decided by the students.
