ICFAI University Jharkhand admissions are based on merit in the qualifying examination. For UG programs like B.Tech, Candidates have passed 10+2 with English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry with 45% marks. For other UG courses like BBA, BCA, B.Com, BA, the candidate's qualification must be 10+2 or equivalent with 40% marks. In law programs, for the integrated course, the qualification for BBA LL.B, BA LL.B is 10+2 with 45% marks and may also consider the entrance exam like CLAT, LSAT.
For PG programs like MBA, MCA, candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline with 45% marks. The admission is based on the merit list from the mark list. And could include personal interviews conducted by the university. Some programs might require an entrance test.

ICFAI University Jharkhand Campus
ICFAI University Jharkhand Campus has acquired 6.78 acres of land in Hochar, on the outskirts of Ranchi and plans to acquire some more land. The campus has administrative and academic blocks with classrooms which are well-equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment, video conferencing, broadband internet, library, laboratories, computer centre and wi-fi facility. The campus also has facilities for sports, cultural and other extracurricular activities.
Library: The University has a well-stocked library and is being augmented regularly with 41,049 print books, 40 journals, 67 PhD theses, 29 seminar and conference papers, 12 newspapers, and 3 e-resources. Students have access to the finest collection of contemporary books, journals and electronic publications, which supplement the prescribed reference books and Textbooks.
Classroom & Auditorium: The classrooms are fitted with the latest teaching aids. The Academic Blocks cater to various academic programs of the University in Science and Technology, and Management Studies. The university has an auditorium with the latest audio & visual facilities, with a seating capacity of about 500 people at a time. Students may participate in seminars on management/information technology topics and make presentations on the same in class.
IT Lab & Computer Facilities: The University is equipped with the necessary hardware and software infrastructure to cater to the computing needs of all students and faculty, and the training needs of information technology-related courses. It is equipped with servers and multiple terminals with multiple operating systems, enabling a client-server environment. Internet connectivity is provided to the students to help them in their continuous search for knowledge with the help of the World Wide Web.
Laboratories & Workshops: The University has the following Workshops & Laboratories for the Engineering students at the Faculty of Science & Technology.
