Amity University Ranchi Admission 2024
Amity accepts admission applications through both online and offline modes.
- The basic eligibility criteria for admissions to UG programs such as BA(Hons) in Economics and English, and B.Sc(Hons) in Biotechnology is 55% aggregate marks in 10+2.
- Amity University also provides admissions to Law courses such as BA.LLB(Hons) and BBA.LLB(Hons) at UG level and LLB at PG level. The basic eligibility criteria for the UG course is 10+2 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and Graduation with 50% aggregate marks for PG course.
- Admissions to undergraduate engineering and postgraduate management courses are entrance-based. JEE Mains/Amity JEE scores are considered for B.Tech admissions and CAT/MAT scores are considered for MBA admissions.
- The university also conducts its own entrance exam such as Amity JEE and aptitude tests for admissions to all courses at UG and PG level.
How to Apply for Amity Ranchi Admission 2024?
Online mode:
- Amity accepts applications through online mode from the special portal i.e Admission Microsite.
- Students need to apply for a favorable course.
- The application form fee is INR 1100 for the online form.
- Incomplete forms are rejected and the application fee is not refunded.
- After submitting duly filled application forms, students receive notification about the date, time and venue of the written test /or Group Discussion /or Interview on the official website.
- All the shortlisted students after appearing in the entrance exam at campus will receive admission letters on the admission site.
Offline mode:
- Amity also offers an offline application form-filling facility.
- A duly filled application form with photographs and required documents is required to be sent to the campus office.
- Along with this a DD of INR 1100 in favor of the "Amity Form" payable at Delhi/New Delhi (in case of downloaded form) should be submitted/sent to the respective campus you are applying to.

Amity University Ranchi Scholarships
- Amity University does provide scholarships of different categories to students.
- Students securing 80% aggregate or above in 10+2 get fast-track admission. Such students do not need to go through entrance tests; these students are selected based on marks in 10+2.
- Scholarships are awarded annually also depending on the semester results, students obtaining marks in the top 5% get a 100% scholarship and students securing positions in the top 10% get a 50% scholarship.
- Students who have obtained 93% in 10+2 or above then get a 100% scholarship for next year.

BIT Mesra ICFAI Was selected for both the other colleges but comparatively Amity Offered the best placements and facilities. It's location is accessible in the centre of the city. They take a telephonic round and Personal Interview on the basis of which they select the students after filling the online form, offline admissions are available. After the interview is clear they release the admissions letter. You need to pay the first semester fee and security and then the admissions process completes. They then move ahead and communicate everything via email for documentation and orientation.

- The infrastructure is quite good, providing a comfortable and conducive learning environment for the students. The classrooms are well equipped with air conditioners. Also, every class has it's own projector, making it easy easy for teachers to teach
- Another thing that impressed me was university's committnent to punctuality- classes started on time and teachers were very quite strict about it. This installs a sense of discipline and responsibility in students.
Dislikes
- Some of the professors who have just recently completed their PhDs, lacked the teaching experience and expertise needed to effectively convoy the complex concepts. Their inexpensive and many a times lack of proper knowledge made it very difficult.
- Despite Amity's claims for prioritising research, my experience was vastly disappointing. The labs are not well equipped. Some faculties publish papers but only reviews. Overall, the resources are limited for research.

I didn't apply for other colleges. This was nearby my house and almost the best private college among others. The admission process is very easy. There's an entrance test followed by an interview. For B.Tech in Biotechnology, you just need to have more than 60% in the PCBE. The entrance exam is also very easy.

I have choosen Amity University Ranchi because of there great innovation and provide real life experiences and practical guide. And the faculty members are so good they help in time of any trouble you are in . I choosen coz of infrastructure is so modern , canteen facilities , foods are so hygiene Wifi facilities in each class , projectors are there then AC classrooms. Placements are good comparetively to other colleges. 400-500 + company visitors

I have choosen this because of the environment. And the college life I want, also for placement. The admission process is easy you fill your form and you will be called for Interview then you will be selected

I choose this college over thousand other colleges because in Ranchi if you get an exposure the best option is the Amity University they organised parties concerts event on your nights for our social life as per syllabus are two vast and good for our future aspects. Professor sir friendly and motivated towards teaching us in a unique way in which we can able to understand it properly in this college one additional language is also taught which is French.

- The rooms were Air conditioned and it gave a sense of soothing environment and no noise of fan and other things was there which boosts focus

- The university could have focused more on placements part as still 30% - 35% of the batch were unplaced even after course got over.
- Parking space and all should have been improved

I chose this college as this was the leading institute which provided a good knowlege and placement. I had applied to Sarala Birla University and got selected there too, but I chose Amity over it. The admission process was just a walkin Personal Interview round. The scores accepted are CAT,MAT,XAT,CMAT.

i applied for 3 different colleges including amity university that im currently in so i chose this college because of infrastructure and events this college organises and it also providing me incampus placement with a great package..

- I like the overall Infrastructure of the college it is better than any other college in our state ..
- Proper classes unlike other collges we get regular classes ..

- Attendance system that i don't like ..75% is compulsory and we even get marks for every 5% above 80%
- So boys and girls ratio is 10:3 so its too low

So i had only applied for this college beacuse it was best as per requirement like it is not too far from my house and it provide a better experience than other colleges in my state like study , placement and other things..

- There are many fests organised by our college for students to create a healthy and happy environment.
Dislikes
- As our college is under construction process there is time to time issues regarding infrastructure.
- The AC would not work sometimes. Which could be a problem during summer time.
Admission:
I choose this college because of it's infrastructure and facilities which any other college in our state could not provide. The admission Process is not that complex it's on merit basis and there will be a PI during admission.
