A scholarship worth nearly 2.5 crores is available for the meritorious students admitted to the BTech and BArch programs. Also, candidates belonging to the reserved categories like SC, ST, PT, and OBC are rewarded scholarships from the Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand, as per the norms of the government of Jharkhand. The total amount for the BIT GP Birla Scholarship is 2.10 crores per annum. Suppose the no. of eligible students exceeds the available funds. In that case, the institute may revise the eligibility criteria to ensure that the total scholarship amount awarded does not exceed INR 2.10 crores every year. This scholarship covers either all part of tuition fees and dormitory costs and sometimes only the tuition fees. Given below are the different categories of BIT GP Birla Scholarships:

The sudden demise of the earning member of the family:
In case any student has to face any financial problem due to the sudden demise of the only bread-earning member of the family, BIT Mesra will provide a 100% tuition fee waiver for the ongoing semester and a scholarship of up to 75% may be offered for the next semesters. This completely depends on the student's financial situation, overall performance, and needs. Candidates securing at least a 7.5 GPA or above in the previous semester are eligible for this scholarship. This scholarship can only be available from the second semester.

Fee. Structure for my course , integrated maths and computing , for first year is 3.27 lakhs. It increases with 5% yearly. Admission fees is roughly 2 lakhs and 90k for industrial development and laptop. 10k as caution money . And rest for stationary and mess and hostel charges. Btech fees for 4 years is roughly 18lakhs

The fee structure is simple in the beginning year its about 360000 and with every year follow own it increases the fees of most of the batchmate is moslty same i rarely find people with scholarship apart from that i know the fees asked is quite high but yeah the fee is good and quite decent.

first year i paid 358000 and in the second year 322000 for third year 350000 and 400000 for the fourth year, college provides 3 types of different types of scholarship , fee increases every year the first year fee includes a laptop and some goodies too

I have paid 400000 rs yearly to the college, 1st sem fees is 251000 (in which 90000 admission fees) 2nd sem fees is 161000... Total btech fees is apprx 1600000 Scholarship If someone got cgpa above 9 in academics or have good rank in jee, he is eligible to get Scholarship upto 100% of tution fees

The fees structure was very good which not gives any burden on me and my family because there is a 6 month interval fees structure 60000 to 70000 after every 6 month interval i paid approx 450000 which is not so high.

The fee is 1,49,000 per sem which increases by 10% every semester. For a 4 year b.tech course you have to pay a total of about 16 lakhs. Scholarships are provided according to your performance in college exams

no sush scholarship benefit provided by the collegue . The total fees for four years is around 17 lakhs , semester wise the fees vary and , yes it is incresing . The caution money is ten thousand as i remember.

The fees is around 4,09,000 a year but it increases with semester this was the fee of first year. Tution fee as per second sem was 1,42,000 With the development fee 10,000 The institute exam fee being 7500 so total 1,59,000 fee of second sem I dont know much about scholarship because i rarely see anyone with scholarship Fee of each and every student is mostly same.

The detailed fee structure is Rs 4,00,000 per year for 4 years. It includes all the fees like admission, lab, registration and caution. There is no difference in fee structure based on category that is may someone be general, sc or st it doesn't matter, the fees is same for all. But yes there are a lot of scholarships like GP birla scholarship, E-kalyan scholarship,etc. GP Birla is merit based scholarship for students having more than 9 gpa in any semester( Rs 1,00,000 per year) E-kalyan is for weaker sections like obc, sc,st.(Rs 75000 per year)
