Total fees is 1451000 INR. Semester wise the install ment fees keeps increasing as follows 145700 for 2 sems 162500 for next 2 sems,179000 for the following 2sems, and 195500 for the last 2 sems plus 82700 INR for other amenities of clg.(Caution money, IT Development, Admission Fees) 232000 INR for Hostel +Mess fees during 8 sems. Integrated MSc has a Tuition +Caution +Admission +IT Dev Fee of 840700 INR. One interesting point i would like to mention is that they provide HP G10 Laptop Ryzen 5 to each student and it is compulsory to accept it. (Its cost is already included in the fees) For SC ST students with good rank in JEE Mains receive upto 100% tuition fee waiver. GP Birla Scholarship is merit based scholarship on basis of CGPA in each semester. It is category wise for all students.

What would be a better option between BIT Mesra BTech IT branch and IIITM Gwalior 5 year IPG IT course considering the fact that I have no problem with 4 years or 5 years?

The best choice will be to pursue a five-year IPG from IIITM Gwalior. The reasons are below.

There are two programs in IPG. One is IMT (IPG M. Tech) with 119 intake seats, and another is IMG (IPG MBA) with 69 intake seats. Since 2017, the institute has had a strict batch for IT+MBA, unlike before. In the past, students who failed to get a decent CGPA had no option except to take MBA after the third year and they were not allowed to take M.Tech. This is the reason, the placement statistics for the program may look average. However, the situation has changed.
IIITM Gwalior has an excellent alumni base. Even some of the recruiters coming for campus placement have a history with the college.
Some students even have cracked Google Summer of Code (GSOC), and most get an internship in their first year.

The placement details of the 2019-20 session for both institutes are below.
