I liked the infrastructure of this college. The building is built in a symmetric manner . All the hostels are maintained in a symmetry
The faculty and staff are good with students. Grading is linient and the curriculum is updated every 6 months

Dislikes

Sometimes the staff is not good. The ERP office staff is not friendly
Mess food is not good. It's about all colleges but true

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very impressive. It gets updated every six months. I liked it well when I started studying it. If introduced you to the real world problems too. And teachers have a very unique way to teach and give practical experiences to students also

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee. Structure for my course , integrated maths and computing , for first year is 3.27 lakhs. It increases with 5% yearly. Admission fees is roughly 2 lakhs and 90k for industrial development and laptop. 10k as caution money . And rest for stationary and mess and hostel charges. Btech fees for 4 years is roughly 18lakhs

Campus Life

Campus Life involvement is very very good. All boys and girls are free to interact with each other which makes the socialising easier and helps in building confidence. Clubs are great part of this college. Very prestigious clubs are the part of this college. Sports activity is major with a big sports complex for students and faculties. Projectors in classrooms helps in visualisation

Admission

This college has great alumini structure. Very prestigious in its name , and the curriculum is quite unique . It comes under government which also catches an eye . No I did not get rejection from other colleges. I was even qualified for IIT kanpur but my preferred branch was not there due to the rank , so I opted this college with branch of my choice. JEE is the eligible exam for this . Very smooth admission process

Faculty

Faculty is very friendly. The teaching faculty is friendly enough and grades quite well. Statistics , BEE , PPS faculty are entertaining and experienced . So I liked them Midsem and endsems are there. And two quizzes. Quizzes are easy. Midsems are also on the easier side. Endsems are quite tough. Curriculum is updated every semester.

Night Life

Nightlife is safe for girls and women working here. Guards are strict for the good of students. Library is open till 8 and entry time for girls is 9 which is not much late. So it helps students hang out in college also

Satisfied from where I am

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I type this, I am too excited to share with you that when I heard about this course in this college, I was not more excited or interested, but when was fully my parents takes my admission I was really so confused within one week. I really really happy and glad to have such a great teacher and department. When it comes to the timing of exams, along with perspective on their difficulty level, I told you that you can't even thought that how smoothly exam will over.

Honest review on IIT (ISM) Dhanbad

Placement Experience:

Overall placements are pretty decent in our college. Companies visit for on-campus placement for final-year students from December to March April. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Uber, Axtria, Meesho, etc visit. The packages are also pretty good with an average package of 20 LPA and the highest package of 70 LPA. This year around 200 students got placement in day-1. I plan to take a decent placement in the IT field after my graduation.

Present Life of NIT Jamshedpur

Placement Experience:

For PG students they are eligible from 2nd year and for undergraduate eligible form 4th year. Companies like VLSI , TSC , WIPRO , Google , Microsoft, isro , drdo etc such companies are comes and offered. Higest on campus placement package nearly 70lpa and avage is 27 lpa There are 70-75 % students get placed. My plane is for further study.

Remarks:

This is not very good or wow at its first site as it holds an IIT tag. But gradually you will fall in love with it. The central library is the main charm of ISM. As a city Dhanbad is not very much developed and there are very few places to enjoy.

BIT MESRA- A Myth or Legend

I applied to several reputed colleges including NITs and IITs. I secured admission in all the NITs but chose BIT mesra for its balanced curriculum, robust infra, strong placement, and reputation in engineering education. I wanted to have CSE in a good college, leaving top 5 NITs all other NITs are lower than BIT mesra. I could not CSE in those 5 NITs due to missing cutoffs by a narrow margin in JEE Main so I opted for CSE in BIT. The admission process is transparent and streamlined. Admissions for the Btech program is through JEE main. Approx 98 percentile is needed by any general student to grab a CSE seat in this college....Read More

My view about my lovely college

Actually, due to some of my mistakes, I filled wrong choices in josaa so I got a college which is gurukul khangri vishwavidyalaya haridwar I got cse there but I wanted to participate in csab round when i participated I had a mentor who field my coices and also my rank was not so good and not so bad So in my rank I can get one of the best college in India which is in punjab and that is pec chandigarh but unfortunately i didn't get this and i had alloted this college although I came to know that this is one of the best colleges and it has a very good campus life and it has many facilities itself so i closed it...Read More
