Our college and journey

For graduation I have applied for St Xavier's College Ranchi Jharkhand,as a backup, and the reason for not attending is that I just wanted to join a central university such as DU,BHU,unfortunately I was not able to succeed in getting admission in either DU or BHU,but I cleared CUCET which is central universities common eligibility test,that's why I chose the central University of Jharkhand. I didn't availed any quota for admission. The only criteria is CUCET which is central universities common eligibility test,one who wants to take admission in any central universities such central University of Jharkhand,central University of Bihar,central University of Rajasthan etc then they have to get good marks in CUCET which is usually of 100 marks.If you have great score like 90 above in CUCET you will get a good college. Admission process was lengthy, as per marks in CUCET,I got a rank,with date of councelling, I went there and filled a form and took admission because seats were available

The course is very tough,in my 1st semester there was 9 papers, and for each paper there was 3 internal exams. I choose this cource because i love physics, for the backup college that I have filled the form I have chosen the same subject, I wanted to do something in physics, there is only 40 seats available for each course and for them there is requisite faculties available, all the faculities are highly qualified and experienced, in my department all faculties are PhD from renowned Colleges such as IIT Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, kharagpur etc some of the faculities have PhD from Germany and Portugal and each of them have unique teaching style,they are very supportive in our laboratory work, there notes are like simplified version of the erodov, the terminal examinations are very tough, there are 3 internal exams for each paper, and their best of two got counted on final semester exams, they check our vast are of imagination and creativity in those terminal examinations.

There are many renowned Colleges and companies offer internship program but very few companies give stipend, some college and companies are , Pantaloons, big bazaar, DRDO, ISRO, Bhabha atomic and research centre, IIT's , Sail , coal india etc, and stipend is usually 8k to 10k per month. These projects helps in many ways in students future life as in the last semester if a student is selected for a job and he has done his intership with that company or college then he will or she will automatically get good package and post itself.

From last semester students because eligible for campus placement selection, there are many companies like to visit our college such as Wipro, Tata, TCS, Prabhat khabar, Dainik Jagran, Dainik Bhaskar, etv news, reliance, big bazaar and many more renowned companies. Usually companies offer a contract of minimum 5 to 7 lacs per annum for starting year. 50% students get placement here, because as I told you that there first year package is poor and the companies want us to sign a contract that we will never leave the company for at least 3 years which is not good in my opinion because everyone wants to explore different possibilities. I'm one of those 50% who didn't got the job, after getting the job my plan is simple I'll try to prepare for government job for 5 years if not succeed I'll do my family business.

The fee is very cheap as compared to the other colleges offering the same courses,if you are a creamy student who gets distinction in overall exams the the college provides him or her 100% scholarship if not then there are many state government scholarship portal such as e-kalyan ,some central government scholarship programs are also available, there is no fee hike rather than they reduced the fee, in my 1st semester I paid I think 7200 and next semester it was 6700 , for my college if you are a student of MBA, mass communication, then you will get a good placement and a great package as well I didn't got any placement selection.

There are only few fests which is organised by our college namely khelotsav, foundation day of college, karma. They are organised generally in new academic session. There is a huge library in our college where anyone can find lots of books and journals. There is many chair and table available there for studying and there is also free WiFi connectivity and some computers available for online research and study. Our college has it's own Gym which has many equipments available such as a top class Gym. There are many extra curricular activities such as selfie competition, rangoli competition etc, in sports there are many things like basketball, football, cricket, table tennis , badminton, volleyball, kho kho, kabbadi, and many more sports equipments are available for students there are few Facebook groups available in our college which is run by students like selfie competition group, various departmental groups etc.
