Course Curriculum Overview
If circumstances warrant, the Institute may schedule a summer programme during long vacation of the Institute. There will be no formal classes in the summer programme. The eligibility to register in the summer programme shall be restricted to Clause 18 of these regulations. The examination / evaluations in the summer programme will be conducted as per clause 20 and appendix ‘A
Placement Experience
Placement statistics In 2024, the highest package offered at BIT Mesra was around INR 52 LPA. The average package offered in 2024 was around INR 17.5 LPA for BTech CSE, INR 16 LPA for ECE, and INR 11.5 LPA for EEE. The placement rate in 2024 was 75% for CSE, 60% for ECE, and 69% for EEE.
Fees and Financial Aid
Per semester fees is 3.5lakhs and scholarship is provided if the cgpa is 9+ .. the scholarship reduces the price to half.. and no fess reduction is provided to SC ,ST ... But there is scholarship to the person who annual income is less

TIME SCALE FOR ACADEMIC ACTIVITY: 2.1 The basic unit of time for academic activity for the undergraduates programmes shall be a Semester which would normally be of 16 weeks durations. There shall be two normal semesters in an academic year (Monsoon Semester – July to December and Spring Semester – January to June). A basic contact period is one in which a teacher engages the students for a minimum durations of 45 to 50 minutes, depending on the season of the year. 2.2 If circumstances warrant, the Institute may schedule a summer programme during long vacation of the Institute. Night Life
