Ques. What is the one-time registration fee?
Ans. The one-time registration fee for all the courses is INR 11,000 except the registration fee for B.Com, B.A (Hons.) English is INR 6,000 and INR 5,000 for a Diploma in MLT.
Ques. Does the UMU provide scholarships?
Ans. The university encourages participation of meritorious students by offering scholarships in the form of fee concession as per the following scheme. All students domiciled in Jharkhand are also given the benefit of such scholarships:
Merit-Based
- 30% for all male students enrolled in any program and having more than 80% marks in their qualifying examination.
- 20% for all male students enrolled in any program and having marks in the range of 70-80% in their qualifying examination.
- All female students having more than 70% marks in their qualifying examination will be entitled to get a 30% scholarship. However, if a girl student gets marks between 60%-70%, she will get 20% scholarship.
Domicile Based
- 10% for students having domicile of Jharkhand and enrolled in any program.
Note(s):
- These scholarships will be available for the entire duration of the program.
- No scholarship shall be offered for diploma in pharmacy and bachelor in pharmacy program.

Before it I wanna to try jee mains for btech from nit but unfortunately I don't take it because I have low percentile in this . Like something 84 so I have changed my mind and taking the bca course. Direct admission in this college . I haven't rejected from any colleges.

- In our college, the campus life is very much amazing. The infrastructure of the college provides a positive feel in the campus because it is equipped with good environment, beautifully designed buildings, stadium, walking paths etc.
- The social interaction is very amazing. The faculties in our college are very cooperative and well trained and they are always helpful towards students in academics fields. The teaching methods of the faculties provides good assistance to students.
Dislikes
- The duration of college day must be revised and should be reordered. The college runs from 9am to 4:30pm and this long duration brings up excess tiredness to majority of the students. So it's rescheduling would be beneficial for every student here.
Admission:
I haven't applied for any other college and I got to know about this college from relatives and other friends also I searched about this college on internet. The support during the admission time was very amazing. At the time of admission, you need to submit the respective documents that is always needed for the admission process. There is no entrance test given in order to get admission into my college. The students seeking admission, if fulfilled the eligibility criteria based upon the result percentage of their 12th standard, can get addmission to their courses without interruption. In my course, the eligibility criteria was to secure atleast 60% in 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects of study. Overall my addmission experience was very good and the addmission department was very supportive.

- College campus is really big you can enjoy your college life . And also include cricket group, volleyball court, badminton court etc for all. There are beautiful gardens. Parking area etc . Overall this college campus is really good
- Library of this college is really good all the course book are available in the college library and you can issue the books anytime for your studies

- According to me I think the timing of the college need to improve.

No entrance exam is needed. You can apply online from the office website of the University. Reservation for St, sc, obc is available. Two-semester exams are held in a year in which two exams are held in 1 semester one is mid-term and another or last is an end-term examination. 2 months timing between these examinations. The admission process is easy. Just fill out the form online then you will get a call to be present there for further process with the required documents. Offline forms can also be filled.

- 1st thing I don't like about my college is that the fee structure of my college. They will give you very small to time submit you fees and if you are unable to submit till last date you have to pay a big fine also
- If you want to do internship the college won't provide you any internship opportunities in very few cases they will provide, you have to find yourself if you want to do internship

You can apply for this course after 10th or after 12th. There are no entrance exam only you have to submit admission fees and some paper work that's all. You can apply for admission online but for fee submission you to visit branch or campus . You will get 10% instant scholarship if your aadhaar card address is of jharkhand. Exams are taken every semester. Fir name it is 6 months but the semester are of 4 months only.No problem in exams. No improvements it all ok in admission process

At my time the addmission was direct without any entrance exam. All we had to do was fill an online form for registration and pay the registration fee. But now they have started to take entrance exam for various departments. But still some department still have the option of direct addmission.
