BIT Mesra B Pharma : Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The B. Pharm program at BIT Mesra admits students through NEET and JEE exams, with a total of 50-60 seats, equally divided between the two exams. There is a 50% domicile reservation for Jharkhand candidates, alongside other category reservations. The application process begins in May, followed by counseling sessions for shortlisted candidates. Faculty members are highly qualified with a student-to-faculty ratio of 1:17, promoting personalized learning. The curriculum includes three exams: mid-semester, internal assessment, and end-semester, using a 10-point grading system.

Tuition fees are approximately Rs. 1 lakh per semester, with mess fees of Rs. 18,000. While the fees are considered high, especially given the placement situation, hostel and mess charges are relatively affordable. The campus hosts major recruiters like Microsoft and leading pharmaceutical firms, although placement success is higher for engineering students. The total cost for the B.Pharm course is about Rs. 20 lakh, with various scholarships available, such as the GP Birla Scholarship and government scholarships for Jharkhand-based reserved categories. Scholarships can cover up to 100% of fees. The first-semester tuition fee is Rs. 125,500, with additional fees bringing the annual total to approximately Rs. 248,000, increasing each year to about Rs. 3.5 lakh in the final year.

The college offers a conducive learning environment, though improvements in communication skills development and lab equipment are suggested.
