There is no official announcement has been made yet regarding the JEE Main Exam Pattern changes 2026. However, based on the 2025 pattern, the JEE Main Exam will most likely have 75 mandatory questions for Paper 1 (B.E./ B. Tech). Its duration is likely to be 3 hours.

Section B will not have any optional questions. The JEE Main Exam will be conducted in two sessions - in the months of January and April. Paper 1, which will be held in January, is going to be a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
