Good and nice and happy comforting

I liked my college canteen the quality is so good there

Dislikes

I didn’t like some teachers teaching method
No exposure and its an all women college which is a drawback

Placement Experience:

I am only in first year i do not knot about the placements much but i have heard that yes my college do provide placements and maybe it's around rupees six lakh and fifty thousand rupees approximately

A balanced college journey- learning,growth and real experience

Likes

Campus life is active with societies, events and fest. I enjoyed interacting with students from different backgrounds and course.

Dislikes

Placement and career support is limited. Few companies visit for bcom (p) and students need to depend more on self effort pr higher studies
Some classrooms and facilities need upgrades. Library resources are good but space and digital tools can be improved

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum as relevant. I chose this course because it covers core commerce subject like accounting, law and economics which are useful for jobs and higher studies. The syllabus builds strong basic, but real world expouser is limited. Exams are held regularly with internals and end semester exams and the level is moderate

Daulat ram college through the eyes of drcians

Likes

Commerce Faculty is top notch, they always encourage us to do better and help us to improve daily.
New building is being ready and pretty much well functioning then old.
Library is very much diversified, you can find so much content there. There is also a ramalaya in our library.

Dislikes

There is lift, but students are not allowed to use.
College infrastructure is very average and so much improvement is needed.
As this is only girls college so the interaction of other person mind is not much available.

From the 2nd year our internship is started and after 2nd year i.e, in the starting of 3rd year we are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies every year visit Daulat ram College for campus placement. Like:- Accenture, Wipro, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, ICICI, HDFC, DE Shaw, Amazon, and Zomato. I have CA in my mind after graduation.

Likes

The campus environment is nice; it's green, lively and safe.
Societies are very active, and keeps the college atmosphere exciting with events and fests.
Some teachers in the Bcom Programme are supportive and they teach every concept very well.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is quite uneven as some blocks are old and outdated.
Classrooms get crowded sometimes especially for common papers.
There might be delays in administrative work.

The Placements in my college are decent. In third year, the students become eligible for campus placements whereas there is a huge event named INCREMENTUM for job and internship fair wherein many HR mangers from companies and Non profit organisations like Cognizen Innovations, Pehchaan - The Street School, etc. takes interviews of interested students for internships as well as jobs.

Safe campus because its an only girls college.
Faculty of Daulat Ram College is also very good.
Crowd is really nice as everyone is filled with determination and excitement.

Dislikes

Small campus and the infrastructure is really old.
Fees is really high as compared to other du colleges.
Washrooms of the college are not very clean.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is as per Delhi University's official curriculum, so it's pretty good. But its very theoretical as well so if I would suggest an improvement it would be this to make the curriculum more real and practical life based rather than rote learning.

It starts in February. Takes around 4-5 days. It has around 80+ placement in last session. Accenture, Planetspark are most bulk that hire students. Recently the highest is 23.03 lakh And the average is 6 lakh

DRC: Blend of Pros and cons

Likes

Teachers were very supportive and kind. Always there to help you
Library was really big and had books for almost every subject
The front lawn like you can sit there for whole day😅.

Dislikes

Commerce department was under construction So we don’t attend a single class in our department
Rest I guess everything was fine for me.
No outsiders were allowed Ig that some days students from other college should be allowed

Placement Experience:

When you reach in 3rd year you became eligible for Placements. There are N no of companies visiting with good package like deliotee, KPMG ,WTW etc Higest package offered at our time was 25lakh. Around 40% got placed. I also got placed but I have yo purse my masters so didn't join the company.

An experience for life

Likes

The location of the college was the thing that I liked the most. It was in North campus amongst other renowned colleges so it was a good campus.
The library was very good and had all the books related to everything.

Dislikes

The canteen was not so good. The food was not good.
The building were not good. It was always under construction.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not so good. I personally wanted Articleship opportunities and thought that as a North Campus college there would come Big4s as they were coming in other colleges. But no such companies came for any such opportunities.

Exploring Academics and beyond at Daulat Ram college

Likes

The college environment is very holistic and calming.
The faculty and seniors will help to guide you throughout the time period and will be available at your request.
The college offers various societies to be a part of to enhance student engagement and learn from them.

Dislikes

The college infrastructure could be a little better like classes can be well maintained.
Some facilities like clean drinking water and maintenance of washrooms could add more to the student hygiene.

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5 semester students become eligible for campus placements. The college offers campus placements and is visited by renowned companies. The college has a highest package of 23 lakhs for the year 2024 and 90+ students get placed in companies. My plans after graduation is to do an MBA for that I will give CAT in my final year of the graduation.
