Course Curriculum Overview

2

the curriculum was overall good. it included all the subjects for the commerce students which would give them insights about everything and they also helped me in the other course which I was doing. overall it's combined good.

Internships Opportunities

2

I couldn't get any such internship opportunities, firstly because I was not aware of them and secondly, the college doesn't give you the opportunity to do full time internship with your classes. So it was a bit difficult.

Placement Experience

2

The placement was not so good. I personally wanted Articleship opportunities and thought that as a North Campus college there would come Big4s as they were coming in other colleges. But no such companies came for any such opportunities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fees was 16890 in the first year then 17500 in the second year then 20500 in the third year The fees was very genuine and was not at all expensive. There were some scholarships which I couldn't apply to because I was not eligible for them.

Campus Life

3

The campus life was good. The club's were good, there was good participation. I had been involved in NGO and working there was great. The debate club, dance club all were very good and involved very good participation.

Admission

I applied to all the colleges in DU in which I could have a chance as per my percentage in class 12th. I always wanted to get into DU college and that too in North campus. I was getting options in South Campus but I wanted to go for North Campus.

Faculty

2

The faculty was not so good. Teachers weren't present all the time. Due to one teacher I had to delay my 6 months as well for a course because she didn't support. Some teachers were supportive for the other courses as well.

Remarks:

College is good if you are really participating in society and getting exposure to events and develping skills. If you just want to study and get a degree you may get disappointed at the end semester where you would find other colleagueous having fun and they were actively participating in many events and were recognised by some awards and trophy.

Remarks:

The college on an overall is extremely amazing however the college does need to work a little on the infrastructure there are a lot of students and less space there always has been space crunch in the college premises and I also feel gargi should have an hostel of its own to provide accommodation to students who really cannot afford PGs because even if students who come from all across India to study in DU because of its subsidised education it really isn't a practical idea if they do not get subsidised accommodation at the same time.

Positive is friendly relationship between teacher n seniors. Auditorium, cricket pitch, canteen, teacher, nearby stalls with lipsmacking food and Negative is there is some students who just come to make unnecessary noise n fights.

School of Open Learning (SOL) is the best call for those who scored low percentage but want to have a degree from Delhi University (DU) or those who need to work but wish to continue with their education. I have learned so many things, through this portal doing graduation from DU it is really awesome I am happily earning a good income.
