Remarks

It's a good college but they should improve the infrastructure.

Entrance Preview

I got admission on the basis of merit. I had 93.5% marks in my intermediate. However I strongly believe that Merit based admissions should've been scrapped off long ago.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is designed by the university so the college in particular is not responsible for it. If I have to rate the university course, it's good. I did not do CA myself but my friends told me that the course is same(it's just that the things are in much more detail in CA) but the concepts are same.

Internships Opportunities

My college does provide internships however, we do have good placements. In-fact I got an opportunity to go on campus placement as an alumnus.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements are good. We have our own placement cell and then there's university placement cell that once could sit for. If you're above average, you'll likely have a job before you end your college so that's pretty good. I indeed got placed through college and 5 years down the line when I go for hiring, it's a good experience.

College Events

4.5

There are many events which are celebrated in our college. The topmost would be the college fest, then comes the annual day which is celebrated and there is huge buffet for everyone to enjoy. There are also events like farewell, welcome fresher party etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The best thing about studying in Delhi University is that the fees is very low. I had to pay just about 7-8k for the entire years tuition fees. So, it's really economical because the government pays for you. We also were required to pay the exam fees but that was also marginal.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't think the college offers any student loan. The student however can directly reach out to the banks.

Campus Life

3

The college life is really good. We have a good mix of people of both genders, almost from all the Indian stated and few international students as well. The pressure for studies is not as much and there's Kamla nagar right next door so you can go chill there. KMC is right in the middle university so nothing is too far.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel and mess is just about okay to say the least. I myself lived in the hostel and its very close to my heart . The think with these giver men hostels is that they are dirt cheap, as a result of which there is not enough that is spent on their upkeep. Having said that the hostel was still livable with shared washroom and well ventilated rooms. The food was hygienice(we have an open kitchen) but the taste was more or less same for every dish they prepared (and yet I miss it *wink*).

Alumni/Alumna

I don't think our college has an active alumni network. I have been out of college for more than 5 years now and not even for once have I heard of it.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is same as designed by the University. The exam pattern remains same for all the students throughout the University. We also have internal assessment for which we have some marks earmarked throughout the year. The students also have to make sure that they have minimum attendance required.

Faculty

4

The faculty was good but most of them were too old which used to be a challenge for students as they used age old methods of teaching which were alien to us. Lately, we did have done younger professors which I personally liked. When I opted for business communication in second year, I was happy to see the professor was from English department.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My liking for accepting influenced my decision to choose b.com hons . The curriculum prepares well for real world applications however I think that work on field give more knowledge. Teachers should teach with real life case studies and examples rather than with the bookish theories. The exam are not that though if you had go through the whole syllabus for once (nicely) you can pass the exam with good marks .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen B.Com with Economics as my course.Because I have done 11-12 from commerce site and I am interested in commerce subjects like accounts, economics. The problems that occur in this subject It takes some time to understand this. You have to study in the right way and take classes. Most importantly, if you want to score good marks in the exam, then you should not skip any exam, be it theory or internal assessment. In this field you can make your future in the lines of accounting economist, otherwise this course is the best according to me and I like it.And if you go ahead and do higher studies in this also Like you can do higher studies in accounting line Due to which your knowledge will increase further.

I would say, the curriculum is also good, like we have labs, and tutorial classes also, in which students get their answers and their doubts are solved. Area of improvement - There should be proper labs of python lecture classes.

The teaching method of the teachers are the best and their no need to change but some teachers take less time and finishes important topic so they can teach more. The time table of our college is very manageable and the timings of the paper are good and the teacher takes class test on weekly basis so it help us to learn topic easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is thorough and pertinent, in my opinion. I chose this course because it helps me understand real-world business situations by covering both the theoretical and practical aspects of commerce, such as accounting, economics, and business law. The subjects are helpful for both real-world employment and future studies like an MBA or CA. Although the course prepares us well, it could be enhanced by including more hands-on learning opportunities, internships, and professional guest lectures. To make lessons more interesting, teachers can employ more interactive techniques like group discussions and digital resources. Exams are scheduled appropriately, but occasionally the timetable feels constrained and leaves little time for review. The exam is at a moderate level and assesses more than just memorisation; it tests our comprehension of subjects.
