This college gave a great opportunity for the scholarship name du scholarship.
Yes the faculty members of cbse are very good and the placement the placement opportunity in
Talking about the placement in our college we have a placement cell called aspire who conducts placement opportunities as well as internships opportunities.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college are very bad and not well maintained. the main campus building are not in good condition .
The infrastructure isnt very great. the campus is comparatively small and the the building is also very old with broken tables, benches and fans.
About the cvs infrastructure it was not good or perfect and the new infrastructure also not powerful

My Experience in CVS, DU

Likes

The societies offer learnings and are very fun.
The fests and canteen offer really good experiences.
The course offers nice exposure and academic skills.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college is really weak
The continuous cancellation of classes is discouraging.
The red-taping in the administration office is concerning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very intense and theory oriented. The faculty members are nice and explain the concepts in an easy way. However, the sudden cancellation of classes everyday is annoying and needs to be resolved.

Internships at cvs

Likes

I liked the crowd at cvs. You can find all types of people here and choose the best for you.
Teachers are very good for some subjects.
The Societies that cvs have are very good and have a very good image.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not upto the mark.
There is no proper maintenance of girls common room
Classes often gets cancelled so thats a drawback.

Placement Experience:

Cvs provides numerous placement and internship opportunities. The avg package is 4.5 lpa and the highest package goes upto 23 lakhs. After completing the course you can either get a job or enroll in a pg programme.

Light curriculum which gives you opportunity to do whatever you want to do
Internships opportunities are quite good
College Societies are also great and provide good growth opportunity

Dislikes

Traditional teaching style with excessive focus on old teaching patterns
More emphasis on theory rather that practical knowledge

Placement Experience:

Average placement is around 4-5 lakhs, and companies like tech Mahindra, Preferred Square, Techguru, Wipro, TCS, and EY visit the campus for entry-level positions. D.E. Shaw also visited the campus and offered 21 LPA but no one got placed.

The crowd of this college is really diverse and really fun to interact.
The professors have been really helpful to me.
The greenery of the college is one of the prime reasons why I like this college

Dislikes

The college infrastructure could have been better.
The college politics is sometimes really too much
The college sports facilities are not that adequate

Placement Experience:

Currently I'm in my 3rd semester and the placements are offered from the 5th semester. The college has a placement cell called Aspire which basically helps and coordinate all the placements in college. There are several famous companies that visited the college like Deloitte, KPMG, etc. There are also several startups that come to the college. The highest package was around 22 lakhs P.A which was offered to a Economics honours graduate in a consultancy firm.

Life at CVS

Likes

Teachers are well qualified and educated
Societies are most highlighted part of the college

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is really poor
Admin and faculty are really rude to students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teachers are really well qualified but due to the new education policy, the seven subjects that we study makes a lot of chaos in time table and timing of the classes class starts from 8:30 in the morning to 3:30 in the evening.

Likes

Practicce sessions for sports and well space for cricket .
Senior students are very friendly and helpful in nature
Faculty members are strict and good there is no chances for ragging.

Dislikes

Buildings and campus are not well maintained
Sports facilities are less and grounds were not maintained as well.
Canteen food is not good at all and not so big

I chose history hons. Course because my goal is to crack the civil service exam. Faculty members are good at all. Teaching is good at all. teachers are friendly in nature. Exams are held at a time period of six months. And we have to study and work hard to pass the exam. Writing a presentation or answer presentations should be good for passing this exam.

In our campus entry was available for everyone's, the college guard did not check everybody so any outsider easily enter in our college

I chose this Course Because I am deeply interested in the History course from my 10th standard. The faculty in my college is SUFFICIENT, for each paper, there is one + one teacher reserved, The total size is 80 in class Our faculty of the college is highly qualified and have very well knowledge of the course which they took. The term Exam is taken by the University in Timely and Exam paper was not so difficult because our faculty teacher prepared us well for the exam.

Faculty members are quite informative and helpful

CVS - A decent college

Likes

The seniors were very good and behaved nicely and helped us.
The sports ground was quite big for sports like cricket or football.

Dislikes

The taps in water cooler dont work properly but thats a seasoanl problem.
Basketball court is not avilable sadly in our college but maybe in future it would be.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course because of future plans the student-faculty ratio is good and the teaching methods are good. Teachers teach with the help of projectors and books and I am currently in 1 year so I can't tell you much about term exams but will edit the review after I have given it once.
